Since this is a digital thing, it should be able to be backed-up. Now I just want a reliable way to back-up my saves. Wouldn't you be pissed if you lost everything? Dillybar and I have lost ours twice. Which means that my wish is justified. I'm currently stalling for time, lol. May resume eventually.

If any of you guys ever find a reliable backup method for my saves here, please let me know. If there was one I sure could have used it. Lost my data twice... I am actually under the impression that there is no good way to back this stuff up. Sorry bro... (someone please prove me wrong)

RISE. I have returned. And... so has Gotcha Force.
Btw, I have found out a way to reliably backup my saves now! Keep your eyes peeled, but I might just resume my playthrough descriptions. Will there be VIDEO this time? Dunno, maybe. Just keep your eyes peeled.
Anyways, got back into the swing of things. Gold Hero is great, Death Saucer is great, etc. Rain of Pain is great, getting back into the action after almost two years is... weird.
IIRC, I got a few suggestions for cool borgs to use in the other topic. Megaton Robot, other stuff, etc. Will look over it more thoroughly later.
New borg GET: Cyber Girl Super.

11/29/2013 Update
New Borgs: Death Borg Mu, (Regular) Blue Striker, Alt Ice Valkyrie, Isis Witch, Beam Tank, Victory Jet, Alt Tao Master, Alt Pop Honey
I mainly just main Gold Hero and use Rain of Pain on everything now. As a reminder, I'm currently on Playthrough #3. I recently am at the part after you unlock Orochi in Story Mode. Ruby Knight sounds interesting, I think I might want one.
Tried the large dragons, couldn't get the hang of them. If anyone knows how to play them, please speak up, the help would be appreciated.

Spam your breath attack to kill stuff, use your B shot when it's charging, or there are enemies too close for the breath attack. And try to stay in the air since dragons are faster there. You can use either of your attacks in the air to stay in the air for a very long time. That's all there is to them, really.

^Thanks for the advice, Claxus. I'll try that sometime later. 12/4/2013 Update Just beat Playthrough #3. Now starting Playthrough #4. Also it only took me two farm battles in the bodyguards mission to get the last piece of Ruby Knight. I pretty much use it to destroy just about anything now. Finally got my first Level 10 borg, a Barrier Girl. Currently, I'm at the endgame portion of Playthrough #4. Got a good haul of new borgs this time around. Happy Holidays, Gotcha Force board! New borgs: Death Borg Beta III, Alt Gatling Gunner, Machine Red, Alt Chainsaw Knight, Cyber Ninja (!!!), Cyber Mars, Titan Robot, Death Borg Nu III, Walking Bomb, Imperial Knight, Proto Titan, Mutant Violet Attacker (!!!), Death Wing, Blizzard Dragon, Bastet Witch, Regular Hammer Robot, Alt Powered Gunman, Proto Mars (!!!), Proto Panther, Alt Jelly Diver, Tar Diver, Machine Head The Mutant Violet Attacker is Level 78 and has 3,700 HP and 20 X ammo. Proto Mars and Cyber Ninja are top tier in the tier list, so they might be fun to play. Anyone play these two much?

Cyber Ninja is one of the fastest borgs in the game, behind Accel Ninja's X or a boosting plane. Good amount of health, powerful lasers, powerful melee. His charge B is kind of useless since every other attack is stronger, but it's cool at least.
Proto Mars plays like a huge G Red. Laser spam, insta-beam spam, and a wide variety of melee attacks.

The Mutant Violet Attacker is Level 78 and has 3,700 HP and 20 X ammo. I wish I had spotted that combination back when I was messing with it, that's hilarious.

Attached are screenshots of my Lvl 10 GOLD G Black, my Lvl 10 Barrier Girl, and my mutant Violet Attacker. Okay, I finished up Playthrough 4 AND Playthrough 5. On Playthrough 5, I used Fortress Borgs like Sirius, Beam Satellite, and Death Saucer to give my hands a break whenever I had the chance. Still used Gold Hero to deal with missions that the Fortress Borgs couldn't potentially deal with. Currently starting Playthrough 6, where I just tend to use Neo G Red a bit in the early game just because. I also gave myself a Level 10 Gold G Black just because. Stats: Stats for Playthrough 4: Battles 129 Win 129 Win Percentage 100% Gotcha Borgs 138 Data Crystals 141 Play Time 10 Hrs 11 Mins Kakeru Win 8 Team 11 Mana Win 6 Team 11 Sho Win 7 Team 14 Tetsuya Win 6 Team 2 Kotaro Win 2 Team 7 Tsutomu Win 2 Team 3 Nekobe Win 9 Team 2 Kitsune Win 7 Team 2 Met Win 4 Team 2 Tama Win 4 Team 5 Usagi Win 5 Team 46 Yuji Win 4 Team 1 Orochi Win 8 Team 3 Stats for Playthrough 5: Battles 138 Win 138 Win Percentage 100% Gotcha Borgs 152 Data Crystals 130 Play Time 8 Hrs 52 Mins Kakeru Win 8 Team 11 Mana Win 6 Team 5 Sho Win 7 Team 4 Tetsuya Win 7 Team 2 Kotaro Win 2 Team 7 Tsutomu Win 3 Team 4 Nekobe Win 9 Team 2 Kitsune Win 7 Team 2 Met Win 5 Team 2 Tama Win 4 Team 1 Usagi Win 6 Team 35 Yuji Win 4 Team 1 Orochi Win 8 Team 3 New borgs: Alternate G Red, Alt Red Attacker, Lvl 10 G Black GOLD (!!!), Death Borg Omega II, Crystal Build Robot, Samurai Shogun, Chrono Samurai, Sapphire Knight (!!), Death Borg Lambda, Death Borg Zeta IV, Alt Arrow Ninja, Alt Gatling Tank, Proto Red (!!), Victory Machine, Alt Teleport Ninja, Axe Knight, Death Borg Tau, Death Borg Zeta III, Death Borg Alpha II, Alt Wind Valkyrie, Eagle Robot (!), Crystal G Red Fun fact: My Lvl 10 GOLD G Black is my first gold borg and my second Lvl 10 borg.

Used Mutant Violet Attacker in dragon missions because I didn't particularly feel putting up with their deathrays. Beat the combined machine borgs mission with a single Gold Hero without taking damage, though I didn't record it. Farmed for Sasuke and Garuda. One crystal away from getting Kei, will resume farming for her later. Got a Level 98 Mutant Beam Gunner. It is equivalent to the Beam Gunner featured here, just without the gold: sites.google.com/site/manocheese/mutant_borgs_descriptionGot a Panther Robot AND an alternate Panther Robot in the same mission. The red alternate Panther Robot is pretty slick, I have to say. New borgs: Alt Drill Robot, Death Borg Delta, Alt Angel Nurse, Death Borg Nu II, Death Bomb, Space Dragon, Cyber Atlas, Death Borg Zeta II, Sasuke, Garuda (!!!), Level 98 Mutant Beam Gunner (!!!), Ultimate Cannon, Panther Robot AND Alternate Panther Robot By the way, anyone know how to record movie files (NOT the TAS-autoreplay-whatever-it-is) on Dolphin?

There's plenty of programs out there. I use Fraps, sometimes Hypercam. But from what I hear, this is currently the best free one.

I swear, the videos look better when I don't watch them on Youtube. Updated Playthrough #7, having recently finished the Dark Knight mission at the Death Base. Used Neo G Red a lot in this playthrough, as well as that Mutant Violet Attacker. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLme7nNUvtmba4RwQDJzFXwhbAJvfziyYV^Yeah, I added more videos there. Go and watch if you'd like. New borg(s): Gold Thunder Robot, Silver Hammer Knight, Alternate Barrier Girl (!), Alt Demon Samurai, Crystal Death Bomb

I don't mean to be rude, but, why don't you switch things up a bit? From the start, the majority has been Neo G-Red spamming lasers and the X attack (not that there's much else to do with him) and just carelessly spamming with that broken purple fighter. There was that Gold Hero fight, something different! But it was just mashing dash and shoot in the air the entire duration. You also switched things up with... A Death Saucer. Most of that was just seeing a giant saucer from above with a red reticle moving around under you!
What I mean is... It's kinda hard to be entertained by this playthrough. It's like watching someone grind on an MMORPG. If your videos are something you want people to see, think of what would be fun to watch... Do you think people want to watch Neo G-Red dash-spamming lasers and his crash attack for 20 6-15 minute videos?
You've gotten some nice alt/rare borgs, why don't you give those some runs? Maybe do some daring things in general gameplay to keep things exciting. I mean... Aren't you bored of just powering through every stage the same way effortlessly?

This playthrough is largely just a test. I... may record a Copy Man-only challenge playthrough after this one so that'll solve the sameness problem easily. I'd imagine that the added difficulty will slow updates down further, though. This isn't a promise, however.
Also I'm really boring. Yes, you got me. I admit it. I'm a complacent gamer. Maybe I'll use Cyber Ninja or Ruby Knight or something in Part 25? Who knows, but don't worry; Part 24 was a lost cause anyways with Kotaro and his annoying voice.
However, be warned: Gold Hero is more likely to show up on Sho battles and Retake Serenity Street! mission. (I swear that those stupid combining mecha's instakill lasers are so cheap.) If you can think of some borg that lets me avoid having those stupid robots combine at the end of Retake Serenity Street I will be grateful. Protip: I don't have Sigma II yet, so I probably can't do whatever Manocheese did in his videos.
As samey as this playthrough number is, it isn't as bad as the previous one, where I spammed fortress borgs to a degree that resembles Admin. >.>
Yes, I am a boring old fart. Age and despair does that to you. Part 25??? May or may not be better. It's going to be a long, long playthrough, and I think that I can't do different for everything.
EDIT: Parts 25, 26, and 27 are up. 25 and 27 have Cyber Ninja, so there.

Part of what makes Gotcha Force fun is the massive amount of diversity. I don't mean all of your fights have to be different, but it'd be good to have a change of pace every now and then, especially anything that doesn't just toss beams the whole time. Bringing out the Violet Attacker is nice, but what I don't like is how borked it is making it unexciting. Even something like sometimes focusing less on beams and using complete melee combos with G-Red would be nicer to see.
Of course, I've played like that myself sometimes, since Gotcha Force can be a pretty long and grindy game. But what I mean is if you'd like people to watch the playthrough you might want to try making things more interesting. If you just want to have a playthrough uploaded and don't really care, then carry on.

Thanks for the advice man. I'm really only uploaded things to Youtube in a mediocre-video-backup kind of way. Maybe I'll toy around with Death Borg Omicron or Slow Valkyrie as a change of pace or something.
I've been busy with other things. Gonna need to jump back into Gotcha Force sometime later.
