First of all, Admin disapproves. Second, don't say farewell to your GPA yet unless you know it actually runs at a good speed on your computer. (Though I suppose you've most likely already tried it and confirmed that it does...)

I actually own the game already but haven't had a working Gamecube in about 5 years, so I'm perfectly content emulating it. I'm not going to distribute the ROM or anything so I'm not breaking any rules.
The game alright, not always at 100%, but it's definitely playable. The emulator I'm using is Dolphin.

Go to Graphics > Hacks and set texture cache all the way towards Fast. That gave me the most notable speed boost out of anything I tried.
Well, I don't think there's anything wrong with it if you have a Gamecube and the game, I do have both, and just prefer to play it on computer. We have the benefit of no data corruption and no disc scratching/breaking, but the downside of the game slowing down sometimes. 1 vs. 1 battles run perfectly, though.
Though the main reason I like it on computer is so I can record and take screenshots.

I crash less often when I set the bar all the way to the left haha.

Strange, mine never crashes at all.
I do enjoy taking pictures of some victory attacks. I've also been taking a picture of every crystal-fragments bot acquire screen.

I celebrated the acquisition of my new lappy by emulating Gotcha Force. Since my household now contains no fewer than two copies of Gotcha Force (I sometimes forget my girlfriend and I actually -met- through this game.. o.o..) it hardly seems unethical to me.
This way I can play the game without wearing out any more controller springs from constant dodge-tapping, and I actually find it plays a lot more comfortably and smoothly on a D-Pad, since repetitive air-dodging with "Jump" Borgs has been made much less tiresome.

Could anyone in this thread give me a copy of their save files for gotcha force. I would really appreciate it, the ones on gamefaq don't work.
