Amazing how you were talking about Angol Moi and then she turns up in episode 7. She is pretty funny. "I feel stronger in a weaker, feminine sort of way!" and of course, the way she says armageddon is awesome. I was wondering, does 1/millionth whatever means shes only using 1/millionth of Armageddon's actual planet destroying power?

I used to watch this! Much later on in the series, you meet the wicked awesome Alisa Southerncross, who has a personality similar to Orochi's. She's not an official platoon member because she comes and goes depending on important plot points/dangerous circumstances involving Fuyuki, but she's probably my favorite of the bunch. Japanese audiences crack up at Giroro the most because of his seiyuu. Nakata Joji always voices serious, dark, tortured and "final boss"-like villains, so Giroro is a super-lulzy gag role for him! Also, the anime has announced an indeterminate hiatus after 300+ episodes. Whether this is so that the manga will have time to generate more material (past a certain point, the anime is almost all filler - the real "plot" doesn't progress and develop much past episode 50, I'd say) or that the series is finally ending is unclear. There are, however, more than enough episodes to keep you busy before that point, and several movies out too. I do recommend watching them in the original Japanese with subs (or even the Mandarin version with subs) because the voices are much, much more accurate and expressive.

Kululu makes coo devices but he doesnt seem as awesome as the other frogs, then again, I only just met him so... Anyway, I loved the line. "Four frogs are back together! Its like what would happen if the beetles got back together. Except the beetles actually had talent." ;D

I love ED 12! The song is "Bokura no Aikotoba" by Kiyoura Natsumi. It's such a calming song and the ED changes background stills every couple episodes - for a total of 26 different endings! And who doesn't love fanservice? Here's a collection of all of the different background arts for the entire period it was the ED. If you watch the endings individually (check the related vids), you'll see the stills do different zooms, which is how they originally showed.

Just re-watched episode 51 and remembered how touching it is. … No, I didn't cry! (Okay, I did.)
Turns out season 3 is also now dubbed. It's possible 4 is aswell.
