Who watches these epic programs? I think they're brilliant. Great ways to fill my nights Stewie is a legend!

Agreed. They are great shows. They have also caused me to do this half the time when I say "Perhaps."

I admit I really like Family Guy although there has been a couple times where I really disliked an episode. American Dad is also pretty good as well though I enjoy FG more.

Ugh, I think the newest episode has turned me off FG for the moment. Why does this show hate character development?

if theres character development, that will mean progression, which will mean variety, which doesn't work for these types of comedy shows. At the end, things will nearly always be how they were at the beginning. Its why the simpsons never age.

^YOu mean the lottery one? As for character development, I dunno.... The hurricane one. Okay maybe character development is the wrong way to put it. It's more like derailing the traits that the characters had that made them likeable. My biggest complaint with this series is the reliance on really dark comedy, while normally I like it's style of commedy (I'm not one of those pre-revival fanboys) it's just lately how it makes relisticly sick jokes, and how it screws over a really awesome moment for some stupid joke. Also how it seems to have reduced all the characters to one-dimensional characters. Also how they realy made Peter and Lois into complete monsters, and how they made Stewie into Gay Stewie, but it's the example I'm about the show you from the newest episode that really cements it in how far this derailment has gotten. The reason why the last episode ticked me off so much was that... well it would take me a while to explain it all so just take a look at the last entry in this link and you'll know what I'm talking about. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DethroningMoment/FamilyGuy
