I find myself playing Gotcha Force less and less. I used to play it on average for 2 Hours per day, every day, 365 Days per year. In time that dropped to around 1 Hour per day. In more time it dropped to about 1 Hour per week and now I am at a stage where I play for about 1 Hour every 2 months. When I do play, it is ONLY in Verses. I've not played Story or Special for about a Year. I have no more interest in getting Rare Borgs, nor do I have any interest in getting all my Borgs to Level 10 like I used to. I have almost 300 Level 10's as it is I think. I'm about 70 Away from having them all at Level 10.
Anyway, I can't see myself getting back into Gotcha without some drastic change because a few other games Interest me more now. I play them as much as I used to play Gotcha and more. I've moved onto liking Online games with real other players rather then the retro CPU target. Could my Gotcha days be severely numbered? I think so.
There will come a time when we all stop playing Gotcha Force for good. When do you think this time will be?

When I die.
Non-exaggerated-sounding answer: Probably never. I tend to play a game perpetually until I get bored of it, then do the same with something else. That's how I do things. I've gone on hiatuses from Gotcha before. After play #7, for example. But I'm sure there will always be that day when there's nothing else I feel like doing, and I'll dust off my GameCube, put Gotcha in, and keep going on. Until I get a perfect file, anyway. There's not much to do when you've done everything, and Gotcha takes too long to prefect for restarting to ever be worth it.

Sadly, in a few years.
But i would probably still pick it up one more time every year or so. Count that, and I'd say when I die.

I'll be honest, i haven't played gotcha in half a year. Even then i only played it for about a hour with my siblings. I wish i had more competition for gotcha...

*Devil arrives at Yuurei's house, begins to reference song, stating he'll give you a Gamecube controller made of pure gold if you beat him in Gotcha, but if you lose, he gets YO SOUL.* ;D

^If I were yuurei, I would take that challenge. The devil can't possibly be as good at Gotcha as we are.

^He is, I took the bet and lost. Now he's got my soul, and I'm an emotionless shell.

The only logical conclusion: Steve is the devil! He both lost and won the fight against himself, so he had to give over his soul to himself! It all makes sense now!
