Yeah, what he said, welcome back! Also, yes, Steve, he's the chicken drumstick pillow guy... I hope, otherwise my apparent certainty will make me look like a fool.

You can't figure out who we were because I'm pretty sure he had about 6 posts until April or something and I joined about 14 hours after you reappeared to say you'd probably re-disappear. I KEEP DISAPPEARING! BUT I'M BACK AGAIN! BUT I'LL PROBABLY DISAPPEAR AGAIN! Given the circumstances, it's not too surprising that you can't figure out who we were.

hey! tatsubei! remember me? I'm the guy yo know absolutely nothing about! but I dont remember you! sorry, and yeah welome back. I joined after you left.
G Black and G Emperor can only be obtained through glitches my friend. they are not obtainable under normal circumstances. there is this thing called the 20th force glitch, which is actually pretty easy to do. Umm, someone may come along and exlain it, but best to watch this video:
EDIT: maybe I can do colour changing using that other method he did at the end of the video... but damn, if a level 10 galactic emperor has 6500 HP then a level 10 gold galactic emperor must have... over 10000 HP. Thats insane.

^that's where I stop believing. There isnt, and never has been, a way to get GE without that glitch.
G Black was avaliable at a Capcom event, so if you went tgere, I velieve you on G Black. GE? NO.

Steve, he's sticking by it to the death, so I believe him.
On wind waker I once got to the 2nd temple, stopped playing for about a year, then when I played it again I was basically at the end of the game.
You wouldn't believe that would you? Well, sometimes people have weird experiences with games. There was no special edition of Gotcha force, so I'm thinking this:
you brought a new memory card with hacked or glitched gotcha force memory on it, and mistakingly thought you had got all that stuff yourself because you were young and hadn't played in a while maybe.
Or, your friends were lying (I used to have a friend who used to lie or be mistaken about a lot of things in games, to be a show off. From the sounds of it this friend who got 18 playthroughs was lying to elevate himself above you).
So, basically, it was a mistake. Extremely coincidental and unlikely, but I myself know for a fact that young kids make up the most ridiculous stories or have fuzzy memories of events. Your friend may have had a similar experience and didn't want to admit he was wrong and made up the story as a result.
This isn't lying or stupidity, it is child ignorance which is forgivable, so lay off him ok Steve?

A little late, but...
G Black and GE are (basically) unobtainable without the glitch. (GE is, G Black, as has been explained, pretty much is.) I'm not going to say you definitely didn't have a glitched or hacked copy. I am going to say that's the only way any of this is actually possible, and even that is unlikely. (It's Gotcha Force. There can't be more than 50,000 people who even play the game, it seems unlikely that someone would hack it and a glitch like this is basically impossible.)

No, i had a memory card without gotcha force memory on it. i bought the game and create a new score/memory.
that's not a fuzzy memory. i talked about this with one of my friends 2 days ago. he was also wondering.
and they didn't ly. they were really at #16 or higher. i saw the number with my own eyes. these are memories i will never forget. and it's very unlikely that 3 guys are dreaming the same dream at the same time.
i do not ly and it was not a dream!!!
i would say the first/old gotcha force games were different.
and now your wind waker experience: well... it sounds weird.. but it's possible and i believe you
or maybe you forgot that you already played and finished the game. or someone else played it and didn't tell it. i mean you didn't played the game for about a year and it's could be that you forgot it.
but my gotcha force experience was not a dream. three guys are playing gotcha force every day. talking about which level we are (12#,16#). calling the one as an addict because he was already at 16# and my other friends was at 12# even though he was the first of us who bought this game. this can't be a dream. impossible. these are moments in my life i will never forget.

well ok, your certainly adamant about this.
But regardless, there is nothing we can actually do to solve or work out something this strange. I would looooove photo graphic evidence.
Until then, I am sorry your stuck on play 8 like the rest of us, and you have to use the glitch for G Black and G emperor, again like the rest of us. We cannot sus this problem, so thats all I can tell you I'm afraid. So, no use fretting about it.

I don't think whislor is lying, or at least, not intentionally. Gotcha Force is horribly understudied and there are a lot of things we don't know about Gotcha Force yet. One option is version difference, i.e. there could be Gotcha Force version 1.0 and Gotcha Force version 1.1 with one of the versions able to go past play 8. Or there could be a very obscure glitch that we haven't found yet that prevents games from going past play 8.
Or he could be an old vet trolling the Gotcha Force boards, but who would do that?
edit: Actually, I would love to hear the friends' sides of the story.

Version numbers wouldn't be the explanation, I've heard nothing anywhere about version numbers and if there were two versions someone would've mentioned it. A glitch that everyone but whislor has? Unlikely, to say the least. An old vet who felt like messing with us. It's entirely possible. As would I.
