Meditate is kinda crappy because they can just CC you out of it.
For Poppy you wanna be either AP with a Lich Bane or AD with a Trinity Force.

It's not a gag build, Philosopher's Stone is arguably the most overpowered item in the game at the moment, it makes your laning better and Poppy is also the worst laner in the game so she kinda needs it.

Philosopher's Stone is... meh. Really needs a change. And philo stone on any laner is more or less "OP" so.
Yea, Poppy really needs that... and so do most supports that can't get their farm on. But yeah, Tanky DPS stacking those is getting really annoying.

Meh as in it's too good.
Was on TT, stacked 5 Philo Stones on Maokai. Went into a teamfight, got focused down to about 10% hp, we won, I run off. About a minute later, full hp.
...Not exactly "balanced" is it? I mean, it's not exactly the best thing to have in a teamfight, but it sure is a tad bit powerful laning phase.

Alright, just got the game. Frankly, I hate how much it costs for a starter to get a tank. I also realized that the starter fighter, is actually pretty good at hunting down enemies.

Why Nunu is cheap. both price wise and how good he is. He is a n00b tank and good at it. Well, I suppose he is an off tank. After all the only true tanks left are, what, Amumu, Shen, and Bowser. Just save up for Shen and you will be set forever. |

by cheap i meant that I have played one battle, the tutorial battle, and I lost. Also, how do I equip quintessences? I only see slots for marks, glyph, and whats the other one? seals? that one.

As Dogmantra said, don't buy runes until you're like, level 20 or so. Trust me, you will regret buying crappy Teir 1 - Tier 2 runes and you have practically no slots to place them in.
Though, who do you mean as the "starter fighter"? The one in the tutorial would be Garen I believe. And eh, he's o.k. at chasing.
And finally, I haven't seen any person that starts wanting to get a tank. o-o

I'm Overmind666. And I've only bought the one rune. Why? Don't. Save your IP for champs and the runes you get access to after level 20. All of the runes that you could buy at the lower levels are a total waste of money. |
