Added Claxus.
Also Steve... I haven't picked up this game since we last played, but I feel stronger for some reason... I think it's because I'm listening to music or something. What's transcendent priority?
Also, sorry I'm only using metaknight. My roster is limited and kirby felt sluggish when I tried him.

I prefer that you're only using MK, you're at your best with him. You do seem better, you were using more, and better, combos. Transcendent priority is the ultimate priority, it bypasses normal moves (transcendent clashes with only other transcendent moves) MK has transcendent priority on almost all of his attacks. It causes me to have to change how I play with everyone I use most.

Played with Claxus. Lost each match. Sooo close on the last one when I finally got final destination picked as the map. I find the animal crossing one lacking in battle atmosphere, especially with that floating platform. Good game though. I felt like I got a workout. Makes me want to play blaz blue with him again though, as that truly felt epic.
I was also playing music, mostly xenoblade and sonic tunes. Decided on this for the last battle.
I was doing good until the video ended. 20 seconds later, I slipped up and fell of the edge. Oh the pain... well whatever, I can say I had fun with both of you unlike my earlier brawl matches with you both... So thanks!

Good games Al. You're pretty good with Meta Knight, but really predictable. You rarely used any of his smash attacks though, his down smash especially is really good and could have finished me off a few times, but you just used normal attacks. Also, you should cut down on the drill attack, it's really punishable. You use it way too much, and it's bad to use s recovery. It got me a lot because I was trying to stay just out range to punish with a full charge smash, but yeah, it's really easy to block and punish.
Oh, and Steve, we'll play tomorrow then?

With that said, I'm ready now. Glad you enjoyed our matches Al. (I kinda want clax to critique my D3.)

I don't really think when I play, but I can say I find keeping up with claxus much harder than keeping up with Steve, usually because I find that if I give Claxus too much room he'll do some funky stuff with the ledge, which confuses me in my hyped up state. It's probably why I'm so predictable, I act on instinct, which can make me powerful when I get going but weak when people try to outsmart me. That said when I have room to breath, such as when Steve has DDD do his special jump, I have a certain amount of time to prepare a block and then side smash, or run away then come back immediately with a dash normal once the AOE damage (or whatever you call it) is gone.

^1. I've just recently picked up D3. 2. MK is drastically different from most fighters in that my best attacks cant even outprioritize him. So I have to try to play defensively. Claxus from what I've seen is very counter-offensive. He baits you into an attack then punishes.

Got back a bit late, I had dinner right after you left. Well, first, you only used Dedede twice in two stock matches, so I couldn't really pick up on too much. But I know Dedede has some crazy range on his some of his normals, like his air d-tilt and ground f-tilt. He's one of the few I've hardly ever played as before, but basically, I had a really easy time getting in close, when he can easily shut down any approach with his crazy ranged hammer attacks. You always had a lot of room between us, and used his side-b a lot, and I think you should really be more on the offensive with zoning attacks. I never really understood the point of his side-b, but it's decent to throw at enemies off stage. And a similar problem to Al with using that easily punishable special jump. I guess next time I can use him a bit to show you what I mean.
So pure instinct... It can work well sometimes, but you really should have some sort of thought process, along with that instinct. SSBB is also a lot about mindgames, unlike twitch-reflex fighters such as Blazblue. That's why I use a lot of moves, even pointlessly sometimes (Pit's flight or shield, Link's boomerang/bombs away from you), so it's harder to predict any real strategy from me.
And... Was my Pikachu really that scary? His QAC shenanigans are so fun.

As for D3, you don't seem to understand how difficult it was to do anything; D3 struggles greatly against enemy camping. I didn't use B-side that much really, and the jumps were mostly mistakes, but that jump is slow to begin with. I tried using my F-tilt, I used my Dair often. You just don't seem to really understand how difficult it was when I'm getting barraged by falco lasers and pit's almighty spamjectile.

Pit and Link, actually. The latter is more understandable, especially with me always having projectiles out, but come on, almighty spamjectile... Pit's arrows are annoying, but that's all there is to them... Of course, Pit's annoyingness fits perfectly into my counter-offensive style. I wasn't camping, though... I only ever do that with Samus, but with Pit I usually fire 2-3 arrows and then rush in with air-tilts or glide, and with Link, I throw out a boomerang and follow behind it with other projectiles while getting in close. /giveawayownbasicstrategies
But still, with some people I used to play with competitively, Dedede was always my bane because of his range, no matter who I used. That's not to say projectiles don't pose a threat to him, but this is no arcade fighter where ranged characters are like walls. Part of the problem was you chose the largest horizontal stage (which occasionally gets a huge gap in the middle) against Pit. Against Link in Final Destination, it's not easy, but if you play the proper offensive, Link is completely outclassed in melee and begins to rely on creating openings with projectiles, but with a lot of pressure with his range, there'll be very little room to throw a boomerang or bomb.
