Wii is fine, though if they include motion controls. (Depending how much) I would like a option to use a Classic Controller or a Gamecube. (Like how SSBB has it)

Control customization would be nice, and several control choices, like ssbb.

I wouldn't mind it though if it fitted and wasn't a unnecessary thing that could do with buttons.

I wouldn't mind it though if it fitted and wasn't a unnecessary thing that could do with buttons. Im not used to Wii controls. I've only really played Brawl which doesn't require all that movement. So if they were to put it in Gotcha Force 2 i'd have to get used to it. Also don't you think it would get annoying after a while. I can spend hours playing Gotcha Force because im just sitting there scoffing my face and pressing buttons. But if number 2 required lots of movement i couldn't play it as i'd worn out (Depending on the controls) and because i play at night so there'd be a noise issue with my mother. EDIT: QUOTE FAIL ¬¬

Agreed about the motion control. That could really spoil things. I hope if this happens, they wouldn't implement that.

Gotcha Force is a perfect example of a game that shouldn't be reviewed by "expert" reviewers. They have a too hasty job and thus can only make a first impression of games. Over 5 years of gaming and it's still going strong for me, and I'm nowhere near of collecting all the different kinds of Borg. For collector/perfectionist, that's a really neat aspect. Not to mention all the countless different strategies you can apply using all the different Borgs. The game can feel different all the time. I bet they didn't even unlocked Sirius, the fools. As for motion controls: if it applied the Metroid Prime 3's style, this game would be impossible to bash. The lock-on free-range movement would be absolutely perfect for this type of game.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gt5FsfVfqBIReminds me of that game that I used to play. It's almost like Gotcha Force in alot of ways, but you can control Aim or Lock on via mouse... (It's online btw and hasn't had a English Release.)

in the second one when you beat guys that appear to be held together with like screws and such, they should be able to fall apart. like if you shoot them with a mega laser, like a G Red "over powered laser of death" as dogmantra puts it, and they reach 0 HP and you hit them in the arm, the arm should come off, hit in the leg, the leg comes off, etc.
Or better yet, same with guys that seem to be organic. that would be awesome but only if they managed to do it in such a way that they keep it E/T rated

^ Big boss battles. Sometimes I wonder how gotcha would be as RPG/strategy or even a platform game. Once I jumped around on the castle pieces ( owned by Mana?) in the park, and imagined it was a platform game.

i dont think people OWN specific pieces since i have encountered diff types of pieces with same people, same map. (EX: a defeat the flame dragon, by self, in red death base. sometimes castle pieces, some times tech-looking pieces, some times Japanese pieces.)

To borg customization!
Upon collecting all of the borgs of a single tribe, a challenge level opens up. in it, you fight 4 copies of all members of that tribe, 4 at a time. Once you've done that, a custom borg bearing some of the best traits of that tribe challenges you. Defeat it, and you get a customizable borg for that tribe.

but that might get annoying. i still haven't gotten victory king or eagle robot. but how much would you be able to customize? just weapons and attacks? or even size too?
-I blame Krillen

Maybe the majority, or even entire, part of the game could be revolved around customization.
Makes for an seemingly endless list of possible Borgs.

That better?
