I'm of the opinion that Capcom knows there's a market for a second GF game. They just have better options right now (though, imo, nothing's better than more GF).

That said, I'm still wart of a second game, if onlyl because i have little faith in Capcom to not ruin any potential sequels. Prove me wrong, Capcom. Prove me wrong.

Come to think of it, I, too, have a feeling it'll turn out like Donkey Kong Country Returns: not too bad of a game objectively, but WAY too different to be considered as anything more than a standalone title with some allusions to the games it's supposed to be related to, games that happen to be far better than it.
(And I'm only using that as an example here because it's the best example I can think of, not because I'm still annoyed about it. I haven't played Metroid Prime, so I'm not sure if that would also apply.)

Prime series was way different from the original metroid, and Other M was way different from Prime.

^ lol I used to think that too. Though it looks like they still care for it...so it might be a bit more expensive than anticipated I wonder how much IP rights of a Capcom series costs anyway..?

You know what'd be cool in GF2? Side quests. After reading all of the bios of the borgs, I think they could do some pretty cool mission/mini game type things. I actually really want to see how the Beam Wing Red/Blue story plays out (Red comes from the future to change history because his planet blew up, and the Blues are in pursuit to stop him with medeling with time). Hearing his story would be great imo.

It would add a level of character to who we have now, like helping Machine Red/Blue train from rookie to masters of the Machine Borg Corps, escort missions with Victory King, a building minigame with Build Robot, a rhythm minigame with Pop Honey, crime fighting with the Hero Borgs, a small adventure of dragon hunting with the knights. There'd be a small amount of dialogue, but I really think it's something they could easily BS and still come out with some fun sidequest missions.

Here's an idea: make and Idol borg that's not useless.

Scratch that, just make an Idol Borg. I mean, at this point, it's like the lamest wordplay in the entirety of videogames.

Not true. Have you ever utilized her version of Rain of Pain? It's really good. I used it to defeat the GE.

She's good in 2v2 play if paired with a Slow Valkrie or any fast long range borgs (like CN or Command Girl).

Well it's much less useful than Gold Hero's, but...
When Air dashing, as you end, use your B shot.
You will actually GAIN height. It makes you near impossible to hit at high points.
Your X shot is good too, spam the direction you want to go when using it and you'll keep moving.

For everything to do that (by which I mean have an additional form like you're talking about in general, not specifically the Human Torch) would be far too complicated, and for some of them to do it would probably just feel out of place.
