Why is it we always have guests lurking around here?
We almost Always have 5+ guests just lurking, but we don't get more members often.
Any ideas as to why?

My guess would be either they come here looking for answers to questions after following a link from Google, they're bots, they read our discussions for fun (like I did briefly before I actually joined the community), or... I don't know.

Could be bots but I think there are people that are more interested in reading the posts than posting and don't feel like registering when they're not going to post much anyway. I'm guilty of doing this on other boards where I'm just there to read some of the posts.
I just logged out to see what GFF looks like from a nonmember perspective. I didn't know that many boards were hidden. Game Help, RP, Intro, the Chit Chat subboards, and the 3 Graveyard subboards are all hidden from guests. Also no Shadow Skin.

The majority of the "guests" are bots.
They are always present and more arrive when actual people show up.
