Anyone ever thought about how GE actually destroyed Mega Borg? Did he pollute it beyond the ways to inhabit it? Did he completely destroy it quite literally?
One thing that got me just now is, could he have absorbed it into his cross-shaped "body", making Mega Borg his body container so to speak.
I believe Neo mentioned that GE was gonna use "the power that destroyed Mega Borg again". Could GE somehow absorb planets into his body for size and/or getting the sentient beings inhabiting those planets to be absorbed into himself, making him more intelligent?
Thoughts?

Maybe there weren't any Drill Robots around that day so the Galactic Emperor took so long to destroy that everyone died of old age before they were even halfway done.

I always figured that he'd destroy the planet with a giant energy beam of great destructive power, greater even than the Ultimate Cannon's!

After watching Transformers:DorkDark of the Moon, I realized that Gotcha has many parallels, including the civil war, the flight of the "good guys" and the bad guys after them, human children sidekicks, and the ruination of the homeworld to the point where they now count earth as their home. So it is quite possible that GE took Mega Borg as his body considering he kinda fills the "Unicron" role of "Mega-Uber-Death-from-the-sky-Robot-Devil" (think about it, he only talks through possession until the very end of the game) Granted, Unicron didn't take Cybertron as his body(because that's Primus' body) but it is possible that the creators just didn't care about that bit.

maybe the G emperor was a gotcha borg experiment shared intelligents?
I may be sounding cruel and dismissive, but I think that taking mega borg into his own body is a stupid idea. Neo mentions the 'same power' after all, so I imagine the G emperor looked like that when he destroyed mega borg. and mega borg would have been made of Rock, like any other planet.
so, I think this: G emperor was an experiment of shared/ super intelligents, and was just a small brain in a jar. eventually, G Emperor (who wouldn't have been named that at the time, G Emperor is likely self proclaimed) got smart enough to question his existence as an experiment. he got resentful, and in secret outfitted his body in private, likely hacking into the local computer systems which he may have been connected up to or a trick or something, into the form we see today. he managed to convince the scientists/ to try experimenting in borg cloning/made himself, the death borgs, to be used in war instead of actual borgs. he got the death borg under his control, killed the scientists, took their GF energy, grew, and destroyed mega borg, exacting his revenge. he liked the feeling of destroying planets and most likely attaining power through absorbing GF energy that he decided to destroy more planets. growing and using this 'ultimate power' to destroy mega borg required so much GF energy, that he had to start building up more GF energy from scratch when he started his invasion on earth.
what do you guys think of that, then?

To be honest, this is one of a multitude of questions that always plague my mind when I'm playing Gotcha. If it was destroyed, it actually raises more questions than answers. For example, how did all the borgs survive? Not just the partners, who I guess dimension-hopped just prior to the planet's destruction, but rather the forces that G Emperor uses. If one assumes that his interior is ladden with cloning machines and Gotcha Borgs that he is cloning, that means that you killed approximately 200 defenseless and innocent Gotcha Borgs. Nice Job Breaking It, Hero. But, and this is a big but, what if (Neo) G Red's story wasn't entirely true? If he managed to get to Earth at about the same time as the Death Force, there was no way he could have been able to witness the destruction of his planet. Think about how long it takes for G Emperor to build up his strength to attempt to destroy Earth. Now imagine that trying to conqueror Mega Borg would be approximately an equal, if slightly lesser, task in magnitude. His forces would likely have been devastated by such an invasion, not to mention his own power. So such an undertaking would require him to consolidate his forces and regain his strength before even thinking of pursuing any stragglers. Now why would (Neo) G Red lie about the fate of his homeworld? Maybe it was a foregone conclusion that he assumed was inevitable. Perhaps he just wanted to focus on defeating the Galactic Emperor who is undoubtedly evil. Maybe something worse than total destruction occurred to Mega Borg. In the end, we will never know. tl;dr? I think (Neo) G Red is assuming or outright lying about Mega Borg's destruction for any number of reasons because the logistics of it all seem so improbable.
