So I've been running Shadow Girl a lot recently for a challenge. Solo'd "Kotaro Arrives!" and "Defeat the Ultimate Cannon unit!" with one of her. Felt pretty awesome.

It's awesome that some smaller circles treat Catherine as a legitimate competitive experience.
Its amazing when you find a game that has basically everything, and everything done so fantastically well.
These players are also pretty good, its like watching a different game.

TAKE THAT LUCIFER! YEAH!
Heh... yeah, just managed to beat Lucifer on devil survivor overclocked.
It's the most amazing feeling I've had in a while.
Immediately fused him and had enough money left over to buy back the metatron I had to use to get him. Do you know how awesome it is to be commanding the two ultimate angels of order and chaos respectively? Well I'm sure you can guess based on how that sounds.
Time to solo the final boss battles.

People like to play it safe and wait until they're around level 90 or so, but only metatron was level 90 and I managed to beat it with a team of mostly 78s. And of course a level 50 king frost. (Probably the best bit) If you have plenty of tyrants you can make it so that Lucifer hopefully never gets a turn. His retaliations are still deadly however... and despite all of my MP restoration abilities I ran out of MP with everyone but the MC quite often. (which is quite odd since I had magic yin on him) Anyway the final boss was actually a little harder than I expected because I had to escort Haru, and Atsuro was a required dispatchment. I like the idea of mixing up the final boss based on the route you take but I eventually had to use all 4 party members in order to block the monster spawn points. So much for solo run. Then of course all my demons disappear for the final phase but... it was kinda pathetic that demonic babel died in 1 turn. 3 holy dances used by the MC using duel shadow and an extra turn. Oh well. 4th playthrough really will be a breeze though. I'll go for Yuzu's route this time and solo it wherever possible. For the most part I think I'll give the game a break and play something else whilst waiting for the unsure release of devil survivor 2. |

I thought the Honda ending was the one where you leave the lockdown on day 6 and the angels destory tokyo and strip humanity of free will? And it's counted as a mission failure. I tried that this playthrough and it was pretty hilarious really.
Still the Yuzu 8th day seems interesting. It's kinda depressing how Honda always has to end up as a badguy in most of these routes. I feel so sorry for him and his son even dies in Amane's 8th ending, and at every turn you have to prevent him from going to see him for the greater good. Tugs at my heartstrings man.

Looks like that Kagura bike is very specific, though. Probably something weird with the puppets being active with super armor. I don't think it'd just do that against everyone normally. But that's still hilariously awesome.
