The Great Gotcha Force 2 Petition

Let us face it guys, Gotcha Force 2 is less likely every E3.

I've been inspired by the Xenosaga protest going on about it getting a US localization, I think with 250+ viewers on this forum every 24 hours we have a decent shot at getting noticed.


If you are reading this, then I want you to help get Capcom's attention that we all want Gotcha Force 2. We shall do this by posting on as many gaming forums as possible a topic entitled "Join the Gotcha Force 2 Petition" and direct them to this page along with asking them to post in this topic where they got this link from, their username on the forum they saw it and the reason that they want a Gotcha Force 2. If Capcom does their research at all then they are sure to at least pick up on this. As an extra force please post this link on your forum signature for added effect. Once we reach sufficient numbers I will E-Mail this to Capcom. Please help make this happen, it really needs to.

Anyway, sounds like a good idea, but it probably won't work. 99.99999% of the world's population hasn't even heard of Gotcha Force, I'm willing to bet, so they'll just ignore it. And most of the people who don't ignore it will probably be like "Eh, whatever" when asked why they want it.
Personally, I've thought that making a new Gotcha petition on that site where the old one is and encouraging everyone who comes here to sign it would be rather effective, but even that probably won't work too well...

We need to try, we cant give up on this franchise, besides, this site gets 250+ visitors daily, that's a pretty good starting figure.

While we do get 250+ visitors daily, a lot of them probably are the same people from day to day. So we'd end up getting 250 the first day, then probably end up with, like, 5 more per day after that. Optimistically.
I'm not saying we should give up. I'm just saying there's probably a more effective approach.
Then again, what I suggested leaves the entire movement concentrated in 2 places on the internet (here and the petition), but your idea gets the entire internet involved, spreads the word, that sort of thing. As long as it doesn't get to spam levels where the trolls of the internet end every post with "j0yn t3h g0thca fr0c3 2 pitishin!!!1!11!one!!11!!eleven" it may actually be more effective.

Unfortunately, I've heard that many "guests" we see are mostly bots. I guess the fact that we're large enough to be visited by bots at all could still be an argument, but I don't think we get as many human visitors as it looks like
I suppose it doesn't hurt to give a petition a try though, anything can happen, really

I doubt that most are bots, I don't think there are that many circulating, I go on a forum that shows the bots and there are about 10 I've seen.

hey um, discussing ways to make an already flimsy petition even more inaccurate right underneath the petition isn't the best way of getting Capcom to make a sequel

but there are a lot of great things out there that are never continued

Negima!? <- redone first season made me think WTF but it was good

it wasn't well advertised
the manga is still going
the show ended like 5-8 years ago

and some things won't die like pokemon..... I love it still
but i've been loving it for far too long

hey, luigi's mansion got a sequel, and most peole actually heard of it either.
if there's a luigi's mansion 2(which there's gonna be, as it was announced at E3 this year), GF 2 is a possibility.
