Dark knight turned out to be shocking compared to how good he looked to be, I don't like beam tank who took ages to get and much prefer Gatling tank who doesn't even need crystals, Chrono samurai is slow and annoying to control despite his time stopping ability, and killer girl takes 4 crystals to make but is poor. However they all seem really good and threatening when the CPU players uses them

The proto Borgs -the giant robot people- they're just an awkward size and i can't seem to get them to make their worth in cost
cept the yellow one but when combined with another it's all good so its ok! -special ones- uhhh the ultimate cannon
i thought the npc litteraly was meant to not move it literally can't move...... it's pretty epic though
Billy WAS Worth it thought -cus i'm a pro with the gunman borgs- a faster reload -it's almost instant for the X-

Personal perspective: Antares - Despite being a cool-looking airfortress (just like the rest), its cost, lack of ammo and unreliable weapons makes it an undesired Borg.
Switching Ninja - So cool-looking, so totally worthless in actual combat.
Chrono Samurai - Great-looking Borg with amazing abilities, but too slow and no really effective attacks.
Shield Borgs - Needs luck to utilize their shields properly. I'm an unlucky person so naturally, I don't like them.
Reputation based: Gold Hero - A lot of people praise him. For what, I'll never know. This Borg is at the bottom rank in my book and there's where he'll always stay.
Cyber Ninja - Sure it's fun flying all over the place, but his speed is more often an hindrance than an aid in my opinion. Flying around and only shooting his laser (which is the somewhat safe way to attack using him) is in no way a reliable means of attack throughout the game, and certainly not in the later, tougher stages. Not to mention it's boring doing so.
Garuda - A great Borg, yes, but he's a really boring one to control.

Admin, I thought you liked repetitive borgs, I mean, you use sirius, which is basically button mashing to achieve ownage. not saying sirius is a bad borg, I love sirius, just saying.
anyway, the dark knight was also a disappointment, but what really disappointed me was the victory king. he looked so awesome, and its fun playing as him, but I just cannot seem to get much damage output out of him.
my favorite borg will always be G black.

Elemental Knight - He's a lot more awkward for me to use than I anticipated before I tried it.
Cyber Hero - You'd think he'd be great at comboing, but I can never get a good combo out of him. And his X attack is weak, in my experience.
Proto Panther - I thought he'd be decent. He sucks. Big time.
Dark Knight - As it turns out, I can't use Dark Knight without spamming like crazy.
Imperial Knight - Every time I try to get a really long combo I either do it wrong or get shot in the back by that Command Girl I didn't see behind me while I was doing it. So I end up dying really fast.
Killer Girl - Her B shots are inaccurate, which is unfortunate since Shadow Girl+shooting should be awesome. Instead Killer Girl ends up being more like a Shadow Girl with seemingly severely limited melee abilities and no X slash.
I can't think of any other ones at the moment. (And yes, I'm aware that most of this post can be explained by "Well, that's because you suck.")

to be honest, sirius. a bunch of people here praise him, but i just find it boring to tap one button, achieve ownage, and be too high up to see what you're shooting. And VK a bit. you would think that the friggin Optimus Prime of the game would be a bit more badass, but I prefer Baron.

Anyone bashing the buttons like crazy when controlling him is doing things wrong. Besides, aren't most Borgs button mashers in a sense? Sirius is my favorite Borg because he: - Has reliable weponry and attacks
- Makes my victories 100% ensured
- Looks great
- Is named after a cool star, and I'm highly interested in the universe
EDIT:I can't believe I've forgotten to mention Galactic Emperor! When battles lasts for 30-60 minutes and it takes 6+ months to get to lv. 10, you know you're dealing with a boring Borg. At least he's totally immune to defeat though.

^Who was that one person who liked her? They were going to post some videos of them using her and doing well and showing us that she is worth half a damn. They posted one of them fighting puny little death borgs and I asked for more. Hopefully they will read this and record another match or two for us.

They posted one of them fighting puny little death borgs and I asked for more. Hopefully they will read this and record another match or two for us. That was me. Unfortunately, my standard for video quality has risen since then, so I've come to the determination that I should definitely get any future videos recorded onto DVD-RWs. I'll be sure to make some more videos when that is possible. (Really, I haven't used her in a while, so I would completely fail anyway. Even more than I did the first time. I mean, seriously, didn't Sasuke kill me in one of those battles?) In the meantime, I can make videos of SNES games, and possibly NES, GBA, and N64 games, through the use of emulator(s) and have them not have any of the troubles caused by trying to record a TV screen with an iPod video camera. But that doesn't really help, now, does it?

I could never figure out those Air borgs for my life, but I think it's just because I can't aim... Cyber Hero was something of a downer to me too, for the same reason the Air borgs were :3 I really can't aim that spin kick. Wing/Phoenix Dragons also were a big downer, cuz they looked so epic and they're so slow and mostly useless

I thought before I used them that they would be easy to use, but no, they weren't. They're slow, they have terrible aerial abilities, their shots are (from what I remember) inaccurate, and their charge attack is inefficient to spam (which, because of the terrible shots, you pretty much have to do to accomplish anything with them). Weren't they supposed to be the fastest of the dragons? And Plasma Dragon is faster than them. They're so terrible I can't even make an argument about their good points. Because I don't believe they exist.

Well, I know Sirius isn't exactly button mashing, but it still requires a lot of timed intervals with not a lot else. anyway, enough of that subject, I too hate wing dragons (dragons in general, actually) and air borgs (not wing borgs). a good point of wing/Phoenix dragon... umm... their charge B attack looks awesome!

I think it is pretty cool. It charges fast and it turns you into a falcon punch.

Its attacks aren't great, but they're not too bad. All Phoenix/Wing Dragon needs is fly abilities like a wing borg to not suck. It's pretty stupid how jump shares the same bar as fly, because after flying into the air you can't do anything except fall straight down. Change that and Phoenix/Wing would be the fast dragon he was supposed to be.

I will say this. Standing back and shooting at your opponent while trying to dodge is pretty boring, which is why I play melee style even with borgs like Billy. It's much more fun to get right in their face and destroy them. That's your problem with half these borgs, you aren't playing them so that they are fun.

Honestly, Metal Hero... I mean yeah he does alot up close but otherwise he's not very useful. Especially his special beam hack, it takes him a long just twirling his sword around and by the time he finally unleashes the attack your target ran off or killed you > _ > But I must admit Metal Hero is useful for killing dragons.

Gold Hero - A lot of people praise him. For what, I'll never know. This Borg is at the bottom rank in my book and there's where he'll always stay. You've obviously never taken advantage of his "Rain of Pain" For Cyber Ninja, just being beamspammy gets you killed. With him, you have to be unpredictable. comeoin for a melee or two. Cyber hero, Cyber Hero is somewhat hard to use the good way (not just spamming x charge) but Cyber's got some very nice attacks. --------------------------------------------------------- Borgs that least lived up to my expectations --------------------------------------------------------- Sapphire Knight - He never worked well for me. I guess he's just too slow for my tastes. Megaton Robot - My friends love this borg. I see nothing in him. Slow, everything he has is very inaccurate. Star Hero - I got Planet Hero first. So when I got Star Hero, I figured he'd be great. Nope! He is so much more inaccurate than Planet Hero, who costs 10 more GF energy. Beam Wing Red - I knew about his Wing Beam, and thought it'd be great. WRONG, it sucks. I'm sticking with Blue. mini Dragons - Thought the mini dragons would be awesome. Not really, as their attacks are severely powered down. Cosmic Dragon - Didn't live up to the hype. His B shot doesn't aim you straight at the opponent like the other Dragons do. His Black Hole encourages Ranged people to come under you and melee. You DON'T WANT THAT.

You've obviously never taken advantage of his "Rain of Pain". That's still nowhere near enough to give him his "renowned" status. Gold Hero = a definite Borg.

Chrono Samurai: My most beloved is crap. Well, not crap, but not worth 600GF.
Shadow Girl: Why does she fall like a brick when air-dashing?! WHY?!
Cyber Dragon combiner dudes: Why can you not aim?! WHY?!
Ultimate Cannon: Can you try not dying for three seconds? Is it really that hard?!
Orochi's Partner Borgs: Both of you suck. Begone from my sight.
Metal Hero: Air melee can go die in a pit of fire.
Beam Tank: Why is the computer so damn good with this thing?! WHY?!
Eagle Robot: 150GF more expensive than his Proto form which out performs him. Just wow...
I could go on, but I won't.
