I just got one in a trade from my brother for a silver barrier girl.
I am trying him out.
What do you think of him?
Do you think that his time freeze move is good?

He's one of my favorite borgs. What I usually do is attack from long-range while charging the time freeze, then use it, charge in, and melee the crap out of everything you have time to melee the crap out of.
Also, in hyper mode you can usually get two time freezes. And your melees are stronger, naturally, so it's highly effective if used correctly.
Out of curiosity, is the silver Barrier Girl's barrier silver? It seems like it would be very difficult to fight with a silver barrier. Of course, it probably isn't. Right?

I thought it might be so I made sure to try it before the trade. It is the normal light blue. Otherwise she would be worthless rare. |

Chrono Samurai is pretty good if you play it safe and have patience. Incidentally, those are the two reasons why I don't play Chrono Samurai; I always play risky for fun and I don't want to wait for Chrono's time stop to charge when I could be using another borg to kill the enemy faster.

try not to use him in team battles though. ;D

His charge X is a lot worse than it looks like it's gonna be, except in some situations (and there's no reason not to use it) but he's pretty fun.

he's really useful for taking out those borgs that just run around and spam, like gold hero and cyber ninja, although cyber ninja would probably smite you before that happens...
close-ranged borgs are more bothersome to chrono samurai, because when you try to stop time while flying off, then you just wasted a good five-ten seconds of charging time.
you could also use him to take out borgs that rely on charging up a weapon to fight, i.e. barrier girl, copy man, tar diver, etc. because those things don't charge while time is stopped, so you could easily break barrier girl's barrier, or dodge out of the way of copy man and x-slash him before they can do anything.
the thing i like doing when fighting against a chrono samurai is using teleport ninja, though. right when i see that guy jumping up to time stop, i teleport, and when time is stopped, i disappear, and chrono samurai's move is now useless. it is soooooo fun ;D

not really, he does decently well in a 2v2, because anyone with a boost jump is a target for him, esp those idiots that like to run far away from the main battle and pew pew from the sidelines  |

My thoughts on Chrono Samurai?
As the official #1 fan of the Timelord Borg, I admit he is lackluster. It ends up being nothing more than a gimick, which is saddening considering his badass look and big freaking price tag.

Chrono Samurai has quite a few problems. Now, don't get me wrong, I love him to death and play him every chance I get, but he (in my opinion) never was truly balanced right.
First off, his ranged attacks aren't anything to speak of. I've never been a fan of the X-slash that most samurai's use, and this is just more of the same.
Second, he's slow. Heck, even his air boosts aren't fast. If you're going to spend a long time doing nothing but charging, you're going to need a faster borg so you can dodge more.
Lastly, he's a waster of the boost meter. It's true. You throw down a time stop in hyper mode and the meter will keep going down even as you deal out what damage you can. This makes him worth much less in a team match when you're playing on a team with your friend and you suck up all the boost meter doing just decent damage, while your friend is unable to move.
In my opinion, there's three ways you can make him better. Either change his tribe to something a bit faster, like a girl, ninja, or gunner borg, or make it so that the time stop doesn't include your allies OR make it so that his charge is exempt from the "hyper mode charge speed up" and make it so that time stop also stops the boost meter from going down.

it has good attacks sort of low HP and a very long charge time it is reasonably good it wouldn't make my story force but it might make my verses force

too bad your partner is also frozen. at least the partner shouldn't be frozen if he is also chrono samurai. that and if chrono samurai was a bit faster
