Hey lets attack this level 99 optional boss in bravely default for the lolz. *Waits a few seconds.* WHAT... IS... THIIIIIIIIS!!!!
I... am speechless, and I am not looking forward to my inevitable battle with this thing. This is godlike battle music and I love this game. Perhaps the first 'final fantasy' if you want to call it that that I can say that actually loved?

MENTIONING OF BRAVELY DEFAULT, I've been looking into the music after watching the story of the first 2 or so hours, and... holy s**t this is some good music; While those three are fantastic (and the third is probably better than this next one) this one is my favorite;

I didn't want to spoil some of the final boss themes for you. That's a shame, because all 3 (one of which you didn't mention above oddly) blew me away as I heard them during the fights themselves. I hope you haven't spoiled too much of the game for yourself.
That said, you know you have an amazing OST when this is one of your regular boss themes. (turn on captions for lyrics)
Sadly, it isn't vocalized in the english versions, but it's still awesome.

Kinda funny how much that sounds like JAM Project/TM Revolution.

I didn't actually know some of them were the final boss themes. -_- Since one has a similar title to the one I posted, I assume Wicked Battle is the last one. ...I was unimpressed.

I really liked wicked battle. And it's actually the first. Now I should probably stop answering your questions.
I hope you weren't reading the comments of some of those videos.

Speaking of:And getting back on topic... Metal Gear Rising's soundtrack is really something else. Not to mention the fact that this is the game's first boss during the intro stage. The thing with this game is, it actually has phases for its music. At the start, you'll hear the instrumental, then there's usually a phase where things get more real and suddenly vocals start kicking in. And the finales are ohmygod. About 2:38 of the song here is the climax of the battle... Just take a look here. That's not actually the end there... The real finale starts at 4:25. Every boss in the game has their own vocal theme... So here's some of the others.

Those were good. Is metal gear rising good? I hear mixed things about the game. NO ITS TERRIBLE. ...because they continued after MGS4 which was the PERFECT ending to a series. I am instantly biased against it, though I don't know if it's good or not. Knowing these people, it probably is at worst "decent." EDIT: Do I know this is from touhou and is obviously not the original version? Yes, I do. I like how a piano (yes, even a fake piano) sounds over the original.

Dunno about MGS4, but the story is very self-contained. It does kinda make sense. It's in a time where cyborg technology has become very normal, so an organization uprising with that tech makes sense. They also explain why The Patriots or whatever having been put to an end is irrelevant for the game's story, but I think that's the only real mention of past events.
The game itself is pretty amazing. Only around 10 hours for the first playthrough, though, but the game prides itself on the action more than the story. The combat is a bit basic but incredibly fun, and not just a button masher since you'll have to parry and dodge attacks very often. It's extremely stylish, though, the combos (and making your own) are really fun to pull off, and dancing around hordes of enemies (or unmanned mechs) with all the swordplay is cool. And there's blade mode, hold a trigger and you can use the right analog stick to slice in any direction. Fodder enemies or stronger ones once weakened, will be cut cleanly by these cuts... Despite the fact I don't usually like these levels of violence (everything being mech or cyborg kinda helps), it's just such a cool feature to manually deal decisive cuts all ninja-like (can be done while sliding on your back for extra effect). It also serves to cripple enemies like mechs, and plays part in some boss battles (i.e. slicing trucks thrown at you). And in general, everything in the environment can be sliced and diced however you see fit, so there's plenty of fun to be had with that. Well, it's a P* game, and it definitely lives up to that name.
Kinda short, but it has lots of breathtaking cutscenes and battles, and it's full of replayability simply because of how fun combat is (very stylish and freestyle), and there's a few extra weapons to play around with.
As for Touhou, that's one of my favorite songs... Sakuya ftw.

I find it depressing how much better platinum games, a japanese developer, can do western games better than the westerners can. Bayonetta? Best God of War I've had the pleasure of playing. Vanquish? Best third person shooter I've ever played.
Infinite space? ... Ok, no one of any culture is ever going to make a game quite like that ever again.
Anyway.
The full opening to the god only knows season 3. 12 minutes long. TWGOK has the best openings of it's type in anime history. It's almost a crime that only one minute is used during the actual show, for the opening. This needs animation as he talks to each of the girl's individually. Unless that actually happens in the show, I really need to watch season 3 because this show is the best harem I've ever seen.

It's combat oriented, not stealth oriented? Wow, it's already way deviated from other MGS games then. Yep, it's basically a loosely canon spin-off. All about how over-the-top Raiden can fight evil cyborgs with his next-gen cyborg suit and high frequency blade. Stealth is a bit tacked on for homage, a lot of parts in the game where you can go around and stealth-kill/avoid enemies (and crouch inside an anti-infrared cardboard box), but there's no real stealth mechanics besides just avoiding their front line of view. It's a cyborg ninja action game. I really like that song, and the full first opening which was also really long. I've looked into the anime, but I don't really think it's my kind of thing... The songs really remind me of Phantasy Star Portable 2's style, though. And especially this one: And they're both on PFP!

It's not my thing either. Give it a watch, the episodes divide themselves into nice little bite-sized arcs so you don't have to watch half a series to truly know if you're going to end up liking it. It's a show of formula, but it works.
Phantasy star gets a thumbs up in my book. Now all I need to do is actually play it...

I've only played PSO ep. 1-4 (4=Blue Burst) and the subpar PS0, but I know the main series is good. FOnewms/FOnewearls FTW

About The World God Only Knows, it's not that I just want to avoid a harem anime, but every arc supposedly has that memory wipe thing, and I don't really like Keima's uncaring-but-perfect-guy nature.
PSO2 is a really good action MMO, almost like a full 3D tales game, with combos and 'artes' attacks. They said it would have an American release early 2013... Okay. The original PSO was also really good, if a bit dated now. As for the PSP series, I only know about the second, but it was also really good. The story was lighthearted and cliche, but I still liked it, and it was fun as an action RPG with great customization, and during its time, built in, active online play.
