Didn't know the story turned into that. I played that Star Ocean a pretty long time ago, and was that game just plain hard? I remember dying to skeletons in the first dungeon, and eventually restarted on easy mode, still had to retry a lot of bosses many times. When apparently I was like 10 levels ahead. As far as I remember, I got stuck on the boss of that one Churchy dungeon and stopped playing then. Never found Sophia... I'm going to assume the game wasn't that hard, but back then I was probably too unrefined of a shonen and just mashed attack and skills. By the way, what was with that game and petrification when you're out of mana? And to answer your question, it's just the opening song to that one over-the-top ridiculous super robot anime about love with will-powered mechs formed by combining (<-- clip from the 40-minute first/second episode). It's not much of a Gurren Lagann ripoff as I just made it sound, but overall it's full of similar themes. Oh yeah, it's Aquarion EVOL. Looks like more of an actual mech anime. Anyway SO3 did give me a couple more problems than I've been used to as of late. It was fairly hard, or maybe the tales games are just too easy and I've also been playing a lot of Xillia recently. But Devil survivor 2 is supposed to be pretty hard for a lot of people and I found that game to be less painful. The early game wasn't too bad but in the late game I hadn't been exploiting the incredibly expensive and convoluted item creation system, so I was a little bit under powered despite being over leveled. The final boss, Luther, probably gave me the most trouble overall because the game didn't heal me before the battle or allow me to stock up on items, so I was lacking for healing. I won when I managed to get Albel's aura wall to stun lock him whilst Sophia cast explosion, and that got him. Almost died when he turned the floor red which did huge damage, but somehow I survived! As for MP, it confused me too, but here's how damage works in this game- MP and HP are actually seperate health bars, so running out of either will KO you just like running out of HP in a normal game. Enemies and allies can use attacks which deal MP damage alongside or instead of HP damage, and battle skills can use up either HP or MP. (Physical characters use HP.) and a late game tome allows you to choose which health bar you take damage from, so enemies will ALWAYS deal either HP or MP damage. Switching to MP damage is best since there are accessories that periodically restore your MP (no such thing for HP) and most of the time when using the skill your MP will automatically hit 1 and stay at one, at which point enemies will start draining your HP. I've talked too much.

An opening to stand among popular elites such as future diary and attack on titan?
I don't even know a thing about this anime. Glancing at crunchyroll reviews gives me some of the most mixed reactions I've ever seen. Huh.

How the song stands against big names is irrelevant. They're popular because they're popular, and a good song is good.
But I concur, that is quite a song. After all, it seems to have been made for a classic super robot anime. It sounds a lot like Jam Project, with the lead vocal as female.
And consequently, a mecha anime called 11eyes about a mech with 11 eyes all around the body that grants it different abilities sounds like something with lots of potential to be awesome. I might have to try and design that. Naturally, it would involve eyepatches to control its powers.
Whose eyes are those eyes?

But anyway, wow that does sound like a good idea. However I'm fairly sure this is the opening to a light ecchi highschool super power show however like every anime and their dog. But oh well, I haven't seen the show yet so what do I know about its quality. But if it is bad which is most likely, then those eyes belong to the wrong show, it should belong to Chaos;Head or your mech idea.

I haven't shared this yet? I should have shared this by now. This makes me want to revisit this game and take a look at the post game.
Oh, and there's also this song. Possibly the first Hatsune Miku song that I've really liked.

That Star Ocean song doesn't amuse me... It sounds too much like every other Star Ocean/Tales of/JRPG intense battle music. And the Miku song... I'm gonna have to question your taste if that's the only song you like, because there's so many other Miku songs with a similar style to that. By the way, does liking that song mean you like: ? The main chorus really reminded me of this song (about 1:10). Also kind of how it's a slow song that breaks into a more powerful melody. That again, sounds very familiar. Here's one of my favorite Miku songs: Hey, this song makes me think of De:Cipher for some reason. And another song featuring several vocaloids.

Hey you've been getting more forceful. About time, I like it.
The only reason the star ocean song sticks out to me is because the rest of the soundtrack in that game is even more generic. It's still much better than the blandness of SO3's, though.
The Miku song was also one of the FIRST that I heard and actually really liked. I don't listen to much Miku or vocaloids in general and songs such as 'world is mine' really didn't hold my interest. That broken machine song sounded better than 'world is mine' and other such songs but I still prefer crier and the other one that artist did which was really similar. The animation in 'crier' was also really worth watching. I am interested in looking into more Miku now now that I know that Miku can sound really good if given to someone competent. My opinion of her previously was always that the technology wasn't there yet and didn't sound good. Turns out I just wasn't looking in the right places.
Tsubasa chronicles though? Never heard of it, but I liked that song. Is the anime any good?

Forceful? I guess that's one way to put it... Admittedly the song is quite psychotic if you watch the video along with it. Dunno how to say it, but it's kinda like the Dangan Ronpa game ending song, Rebuild. I like the 'innocently dark' tone to it. As for Miku, well... She's sounded great since her debut. It's just a matter of who makes the song. There's just about a neverending void of vocaloid songs, though. So you can go on Youtube and have fun with related searches, and find all kinds of songs. Don't stop at just Miku, though. I can point you to some of my favorite vocaloid songs if you ever get around to it. And Tsubasa Chronicle, can't help you there. The song is actually the ending to a mecha anime. For some reason every video of it has been taken down except that unrelated AMV. I did originally want to watch it a long time ago (it also has an amazing soundtrack)... I saw the first two episodes. From what I gathered, it starts as a love story where the main character and his childhood princess friend get separated. He sets out, along with two other guys with their own agenda, to travel across different worlds to regenerate pieces of the girl's memory, which was lost after the incident. It was like a nice adventure traveling through different worlds... A bit like Kingdom Hearts. Problem is, I kinda got too scared away after I read nothing but bad news for how things turn out later. If you really want to know, the story turns out to be extremely convoluted, where all the main characters are actually clones, and some sort of infamously bad ending, and it just tries to force its timeline into other anime/manga works from the same writer, and lame crap like that. So much for a nice adventure through worlds in the name of love.
