I don't believe that I already spoiled this for myself when I'm only barely 1/3 of the way through the first Xillia game, let alone the sequel. Still, this is easily the best final boss theme in the series. Sorry wilderness of sadness. Actually, Xillia may just have the best soundtrack in the tales series. Xillia may also have one of the best cast of characters in a tales game. At least the best protagionist (even if Milla doesn't appear to be getting as much development as Luke) Heck, Xillia may actually end up being the best tales game.

I'm still very fond of Tales of Graces. Seen some clips and stuff, and I love all the character designs and skits... Wish I had pad a PS3. Although I'm not sure about its music. I looked up its final boss theme which is pretty impressive in an epic kind of way, but that theme on Xillia is great, sounds almost like an opening song that gets used as an insert song at the end of an anime. It also sounds strangely familiar, though. I swear I've heard something like it before. *Reads comments* Oh, go figure. God Knows is probably the vibe I was getting from the song.
And moving on, I just came across this:

Heh... Some song mashups can just be so amazing.
Sounds even better at 1.1x speed, IMO. It's just about Renai Circulation's original tempo, and All Star sped up along with it sounds so natural it's amazing.

^ That just sounds... weird.
Anyway I finally found this.
It would probably be better in game but on its own I probably prefer the original.
I mentioned this series not long back and it really does have pretty great music.
That's the opening theme.

Almost posted this in my topic here... But I figured I'd wait 'till I finish the anime this is from first if I do post it there. Since my posts there always follow with lots of personal comments on what the songs are from. So this is the ending song to Vandread:
I haven't heard it that many times... Only on episode 4. But something about this song is so incredible to me. It starts out as a laid back song, peaceful and has a very nice and smooth beat. And at right about a minute in, it takes a turn to the main chorus. I'm not the only one who feels this surge of emotion, am I? Like the singer and the song combine, bursting with emotion, singing from the depths of their heart like there's no tomorrow... Right?
Well, I doubt anyone's interested, but Vandread's quite a piece of work so far. Of course it's a mecha anime, but it's about males and females living in separate planets, and think of each other almost as demons, at war with each other. Without saying, the series starts with a big incident where the two meet, a trio of guys getting left behind and their ship taken over by a band of female pirates.
Of course, mechanical aliens also pop up! Finding out that women actually aren't monsters who want to eat his guts, Hibiki pilots the mech he stole (to show off to his friends) cooperating with them, and combines with the female pilots' ships (somehow) to unleash unknown powers and transformations!

End of E102, alternatively known as Event; Unbound. This theme suits where it is placed amazingly, and it made Sonic Adventure 1 my favorite Sonic game interms of story. It fits so well.
Oh, also, I beat Sonic adventure for the first time today. and I played the entire thing today.

Oh, also, I beat Sonic adventure for the first time today. and I played the entire thing today. I hear that during development Gamma was originally planned to shoot himself in the head to release the bird. Apparently that wasn't family friendly enough. True, but the scene is still pretty depressing. Would have sprinkled extra cinnamon on the greatest of that scene. Umm... I can't think of anything to say so... Uhh... Yeah, that will do. *Phew* Now that I listen to it though it's amazingly good. And the picture for the video just has to be THAT scene. I'm going to flip if that scene is in the anime. Unlikely, but maybe.

Oh... glorious. A game with good musix reguarly playing is a game that is just... bliss...
But wait! It gets better. An official remixed soundtrack has an even better version of the song!
Also second playthrough in and Devil survivor 2 still sounds amazing.

Did you ever play Legend of Heroes? I was very fond of it, but all I read about it is that the story ends with a cliffhanger and we're probably never getting the sequel. The game seems pretty much like a console style Ragnarok Online... Same exact graphics style and great music.

How can you be fond of a game if you haven't played it? I'm playing 'trails in the sky' by the way. Also I believe that a sequel was announced for the vita recently. Localization is a whole other issue.

Are you fond of the new Persona 4 Arena? But you haven't played it yet! And you brought up music from the new Blazblue that you aren't playing. And that Tales of Xillia 2 which by the way that video got removed.
I wouldn't want to go into a big adventure that just ends with a cliffhanger that we may never get to complete. By the way, don't forget to examine every treasure chest after opening them. Each empty chest in the game has an unique and funny line of text!

Though that's more anticipation and high hopes (specially since I've already played their direct prequels) than 'fondness' And yeah the treasure chests are really funny, I was quite thrown how each one makes fun of you for DARING to check it again. But would recommend getting it if you're interested, it's good in it's on right and it is getting a sequel apparently. It must be getting cheap these days, too. Besides music and funny dialogue I'm still not totally gripped. There's some good characterization and the graphics are charming, plus I haven't seen a battle system like this before. It's like devil survivor or fire emblem in the sense that it's on a grid but it plays more like a standard turn based JRPG than an SJRPG like the previously mentioned devil survivor is... Anyway, I wish I could get my mits on some more playable characters. Although... Now that I think of it, haven't I posted music from this game before in this very thread without knowing a thing about it? That was some heavy and epic stuff. Plus I see tons of comments saying how this is one of if not the best PSP game ever. Looking forward to this. I have no idea where it might be going.

This is the only time I will appreicate and tolerate... is this heavy metal or death metal?
Either way I adore the song. Easily the best remix in the CP soundtrack considering I couldn't stand the origional black onslaught. Took a peak at the final boss of CP too. This music plays. Other than that... HOLY CRAP! That... that... that ABOMINATION will NOT be playable! I forgot that that thing even existed! Also Saya has a battle sprite. Hope she becomes playable soon.

The Breakpoint Method They have hard rock tones with some occasional yelling. An awesome band they are. Sounds like Jam Project. Minus the super robot. You should try listening to them. All of their songs also have a habit of breaking into an extremely symphonic main chorus after all the mech hard rock. The part after 1:20 on this one is so beautiful.

Dunno how to embed videos here on my phone... youtu.be/0L-ixVhUfV4This song is nice. It's not like outstanding or anything, but it just sounds so soothing. All of the sound effects and digital instruments make a great effect for the song. Something about it is vaguely familiar though. Some parts sound kinda Mega Man Battle Networky or something.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2IwwyJUerkWow this opening for Kill La Kill is great. They used the most boring parts in the actual opening, of course. But the full version is almost as amazing as Sora iro Days. Which is the equivalent of being almost as amazing as Jesus, Chuck Norris, and Batman combined. Really got to find the lyrics for this.

^ That's a good one. Late reply? What's that?
Anyway it is customary for me to post final boss music of games I am playing recently because I'm a spoiling idiot.
Poor Luther. Imagine if WoW GMs and moderators had to deal with the NPCs in their MMO rebelling with claims of free will every time they tried to update the servers and fix bugs with patches? There WOULD be no MMORPGs! No but really this was a good game and Luther was an unreasonable idiot.
I have no idea why the twist in this game is so infamous when it was kind of tame in comparison to similar games and anime that followed it (gurren lagann and infinite space come to mind) and that it served to finally make the game more interesting and draw it away from the standard fantasy plot. Plus it was a nice, subtle jab at gaming culture. I really don't comprehend people's opinions sometimes.

Didn't know the story turned into that. I played that Star Ocean a pretty long time ago, and was that game just plain hard? I remember dying to skeletons in the first dungeon, and eventually restarted on easy mode, still had to retry a lot of bosses many times. When apparently I was like 10 levels ahead. As far as I remember, I got stuck on the boss of that one Churchy dungeon and stopped playing then. Never found Sophia... I'm going to assume the game wasn't that hard, but back then I was probably too unrefined of a shonen and just mashed attack and skills. By the way, what was with that game and petrification when you're out of mana? And to answer your question, it's just the opening song to that one over-the-top ridiculous super robot anime about love with will-powered mechs formed by combining (<-- clip from the 40-minute first/second episode). It's not much of a Gurren Lagann ripoff as I just made it sound, but overall it's full of similar themes. Oh yeah, it's Aquarion EVOL.
