Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone else put together teams with certain borgs to fit a theme.
I don't mean by having all gun borgs or something.
I mean more along the lines of putting choosing certain borgs because they were like something else.
For example, I have a team that I use for big (GF Energy wise) multi player matches that was made to basically be Team Fortress.
It is composed of:
Flame Ninja = Pyro
Nao = Medic
Command Girl = Sniper
Acceleration Ninja = Scout
Kei = Soldier (mainly because of the missiles)
Gattling Gunner = Heavy
Time Bomber = Demo Man
Copy Man = Spy
Build Robot/Cyber Girl Hyper = Mechanic
How about you guys?
Does anyone else make themed teams?

The closest I've come to that is doing a few fights with just Hero Borgs, but that doesn't count...

I kind of have the same thing. Only I have one based off of the Power Rangers.  Red Ranger = Neo G Red (because he is a leader and fights with a sword Blue Ranger = Sapphire Knight (because a lance is close to a spear and sapphire is close to blue) Black Ranger = Chrono Samurai (he is black and big cleavers are kind of like axes) Yellow Ranger = Color Changed Normal Ninja (Best I could do for a yellow unit that fights with daggers) Pink Ranger = Wire Girl (is pink and a gun is like a bow) I would have added in the Green and White rangers, but the team is currently sitting at 2100 GF Energy and if I keep it low I can use it in multiplayer. The usual limit for the multiplayer matches that we have here is 2200. This is because it causes you to really think about who you want on your team and gives heft to the numbers. Also because the set limit in special mode is 2200. If you find a team that works really well it is fair to use it in multi player. So this team only has the 5 core rangers. |

Members:
RUby/Sapphire Knight(I usually use Sapphire)
Beam Gunner
Beam Samurai
Cyber Ninja
Beam Wing Red/Blue(I go with blue, he costs less, and wing beam
sucks)
They are all high tech, and i'm aqctually really good with all of them.

vlad(330) so much death and destruction lies around him when i'm done...
total=2160
yes, a four-man team, but the next ones i would add put it over 2200 and then i cant use it in special.
BTW the next ones are:
Cyber hero(450) melee king, and if you know how, range king
sirius(1000) do i need a reason?
imperial knight(550) 2 shields, hard to hit from the front if well played
Cyber Mars(950) he looks so smug. and he has a sword sheathed on his wrist. EPIC!
Victory King(1000) 3 way transform, melee rape, range not so much

2. Slow Valkrie (350)
3. Ice Valkrie (240)
4. Silver Ring Valkrie(280)
5. Quick Valkrie (230)
6. Garuda (750)
Total: 2180 Gf energy
The way I use this is better that you think. I may post up a video of me fighting CDD or G emperor soon.
Also, these guys all cast spells, or have a spell cast on them. That is their similarity.
EDIT: I used this team a while back, used it again, and realized why I had changed it around in my force. BUG WITCH SUCKS! I DON'T USE BUG WITCH! Here, i've now officially altered it.

I made a team awhile back themed after My Little Pony. I don't know why I didn't post it earlier. I even posted a picture of Rarity and forgot about this team. Here it is: Fluttershy = Quick Valkrie (Flying support Non-caster) Rainbow Dash = Beam Wing Blue (Flier that has ACCELERATION SCOPE) Twilight Sparkle = Sekhmet Witch (helps team with magic) Pinkie Pie = Wire Girl (Is solid pink and bounces around the battle field) Apple Jack = Kung-Fu Master (nothing really seemed to suit her well) Rarity = Pop Honey Spike = Wing Dragon (the smallest dragon (also Purple). Also the only one I could put on this team for the total GF Energy < 2200) Total = 2090 Solid for Multiplayer  |

Nahh, I don't have themed teams as such. I just use borgs I feel like using (which is usually Death Borg Omicron/Copy Man) The usual limit for the multiplayer matches that we have here is 2200. Wow, ours are usually about 22,000 XD |

We usually don't have random borgs because if someone gets a good one or one that we put levels into the game is pretty much over.
We also don't have tons of GF Energy in our matches because we don't like long matches.
That is in part because if we use everyone in every match all the time, the matches all start to feel the same.
It is in part because if someone starts to get ahead, they usually snowball and then it is just painful for whoever is behind. With short matches you are never down by that many borgs simply because the matches are a few borgs big.
And because we like our matches short sweet and to the point.
Every once in awhile though we do have 30 borg brawls.

Quick man- accel ninja (alt but idt ive changed it yet)

Gutsman- build robot(alt)
Crashman- remote bomber
Bombman- time bomber
Knightman- hammer robot (royal wrecking ball anyone?)

Zero- (i think i have zero set as either metal hero or cyber hero atm, gonna change it to beam sam)
Searchman- gattling gunner(he looks like searchman more thab fights like him)
Rideman- powered gunman
And a few others that idr. The gfe cost is through the roof tho /:

My latest playthrough, I'm literally using nothing but Hammer Robots, Death Borg Omega IIs, and Death Borg Beta III. Appropriately named 'Hammer Bros'  |
