Okay, but what about these guys; Sol Dios Land Crab Cabracan Sol Dios Mobile Fortress 00-ARETHA (plus this guy might make a kick-ass Machine Borg, too!)

The Sol Dios arms forts would be pretty fun to fight Gotcha Force style. but let's face it, almost any mobile fortress from anything would be a good fight in Gotcha Force.
Cabracan would be lots of fun though. Slipping under it and stopping it, then it'd keep spawning Death Borgs 'till you destroy like 50... Or 100.
And that last one looks like some fan-made Lahire? It could be a cool Sho-like rival unit. Just give it more normal weapons.
Still, I stick by Spirit of Motherwill, because most of the fortresses on AC:4A require flying. Spirit of Motherwill would work as a huge ground-based platforming fight on top of it.

How about a little something that's from a game by the same company as Gotcha Force: the sinister black Variant Armor Warlock!

Oh, I know that mech... From MUGEN. It had stupidly good AI and combos I could never beat. I never actually got around to playing Cyberbots itself, though.
But just like fortresses, almost any robot could be turned into a cool borg. To answer this topic's question, I think borgs like the Beam Wings or Sapphire Knight are the best, they have the ability to combat just about anything.

Hey, how about a certain Mobile Suit; PMX-003 The-O, developed by the Titans commander Paptimus Scirocco!

I think The-O is cool but weird. I mean, it'd definitely be an interesting melee-oriented borg. A simple but strong beam rifle for long range, and a secondary dash attack charging with melee utilizing all of its limbs that pop out. And a charge-up attack where The-O spins with all of its limb-sabers slashing all around itself.

I understand. Oh, and do you think that this; the Arms Fort Great Wall would make a good Fortress Borg? Then again, you do have that preference to the Spirit of Motherwill, no offense.

I just think it would work best. But Great Wall would be the next good choice. You could start on top of it, and fight across to the other side and break in from the inside to destroy the core. It'd have to be on a much smaller scale, though, because even boosting at near the speed of sound, it still takes a long time to cross it.

It's from AC4, which came before For Answer

Oh, I never got a chance to play it, though I wanted to. When I got a 360, AC:4A was out, so I got that instead. I only played the AC4 demo.
But I think my dream borg would be something like Eagle Robot, but more normal sized. I'd love a borg that transforms into a ship, but isn't giant. I do like the giant machine borgs, but they're too different from the rest of the game, so they're kinda weird. Not flinching to attacks and being huge, easy targets.
Or a machine borg that can change to a flight mode that acts like wing borgs... Actually, a whole sub-genre of transforming borgs that aren't giant. That would be perfect.

Huh... Is that just a concept art or has it been in games? Either way, it looks a bit out ofGotcha Force's style, and that's probably too many weapons.

GOPPERT-G3 from Armored Core For Answer Think this guy would make a good general-purpose Machine Borg?

Seems pretty good. Maybe it could actually be a machine borg with a shield.
