Well.....technically, Orochi doesnt have a character borg. Dark knght, nor death win, are partner borgs. Good luck on getting the others tho! Yeah, I know that, I meant I'll get the dark knight then get the other character borgs, because I have some but not all.

I was under the impression that it was a borg that you never see in game outside of under a certain characters control because that borg is specific to them. They are partners. By that definition Orochi has 2. Is it because all other partner borgs are just buffs of other borgs shamelessly repackaged as a new borg? Or are we trying to determine who is a partner borg and who is not based off of the borgs number?

I was under the impression that it was a borg that you never see in game outside of under a certain characters control because that borg is specific to them. By that definition Orochi has 2. Actually, by that definition, Orochi has 0. Dark Knight is found in the wild so to speak in the death base showdown deally, and I swear I've seen Death Wing in a random defeat the death borgs mission. In fact, I have because that's where I got the last Data Crystal from. I myself go by the definition of a charcter borg is the borg that always appears at the end (ish) of that characters team at any point in the story, making Orochi's character borg Death Wing, as it appears at the end of Orochi's team 4 times during the story, whereas Dark Knight appears once at the start of her team. However, during the story, G Red actually states 'I thought Dark Knight was Orochi's borg...' You could also argue that she has no character borg since her team pretty much changes every time. So, yeah, there we go. Mystery unsolved :D

I consider Death Wing to be Orochi's partner Borg, simply because that's the one that is always the final Borg in her Force after she joins you, and during Special mode. I can't say I've never seen one outside any Orochi related fights either, which make it even more so exclusive. I can't remember when I got my Dark Knight, but I have no recollection it was a very difficult Borg to get, but since I have one crystal, I think I'll hunt for an alternate one for a while.

If you are new to the Knight Borgs the complex and tricky to use Dark Knight is not the place to start. I would recommend starting by trying out Sword Knight or Alien Insect before using Dark Knight. Throw one of those on your team and train them up to level 4 before really buckling down and using Dark Knight. They are pretty great as introductory borgs into the Knight tribe.

I dont really have a whole lot of experience with many borgs, because I usually just stick to the G red series, but I really got to expand some more.

So, where exactly is the best place to find Dark Knight crystals? The Dark Knight battle. Or any battle with Orochi before that, I think.

So, where exactly is the best place to find Dark Knight crystals? Little hill-defeat the deat commander Orochi! Says Tuff stuff, but it's "tuff stuff" when you've got 1050 GF energy. Very easy with 2200.

In order for a borg to be a partner borg, 2 definitions must be true- They can only be found in missions where that person is involved. They must have a "variant"(ex, Sasuke-Normal Ninja) Both of Orochi's supposed character borgs do not have a "variant," therefore, neither is a character borg. Imperial Knight is similar to Dark Knight, but they are not "variants" of each other. Even if they were, Dark Knight appears outside of missions that involve her, however, it is only one mission. "THE DESCEICIVE BATTLE! DEFEAT THE DARK KNIGHT" is that mission. Death Wing does not have a "variant" Therefore, OROCHI DOES NOT HAVE A PARTNER BORG.

Was stumbling my way through the Japanese gotcha force wiki looking for pics of Nekobe and wallpapers (of which there are many good ones) and I thought I would see what it says about Orochi. According to the Japanese wiki her partner borg is the Dark Knight. www.capcom.co.jp/gotchaforce/character/orochi.htmlIt may not appear that way since she doesn't always use them and it shows up in that one match without her, but the wiki says that Dark Knight is her partner.

I'm not sure how that's even possible without some kind of witchcraft. I'm guessing you are doing the fight in play 8 in Special (since I'm pretty sure that's where everyone goes (and probably should go) for this sort of thing)? Also... ^ AHA! new member, I found you! Welcome to GFF! That.
