If the characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic were Gotcha Borgs, which borgs do you think each would be and why?
I am especially interested in seeing which borg you think represents Fluttershy and Rarity.

This topic is so weird, I don't know if I should leave it here or put it in the Television/Chit Chat section.
With that said, since I don't watch the show I can't say anything Borg-related about them.

Man, this is hard. I have a pair of images (didn't draw 'em) with MLP characters as TF2 classes.
I feel like Fluttershy would be Ultimate Cannon. And I also feel like Rainbow Dash would be some kind of gunner.

I thought that Fluttershy would be a flying support character like the Quick Valkrie and rainbow dash would be Beam Wing Red.

>1 year bump! Found this topic while looking at old BotW and Who Wins. Warning: Long post ahead!
The criteria I'm looking at are playstyle, design, and personality. Playstyle looks at how the borg is used in battle and how it would match with the pony's personality. Design refers to not just the physical appearance, but also the stats and attacks available. In some cases, design and playstyle are somewhat related. The final one, personality, can be found by reading the borg descriptions, or if there is none present, by infering a personality from its playstyle and design.
Twilight Sparkle - Beam Gunner. Twilight seems like she would be a long range fighter, attacking with powerful magic from afar. Beam Gunner's playstyle of beam spamming and his super powerful Giga Beam Cannon seems to fit the description. There were no studious or logical or perfectionist borgs available, so I couldn't really match any one with her personality.
Fluttershy - Slow Valkrie/Angel Rescue. Fluttershy's role would be support and Slow Valkyrie flies around debuffing enemies, with Fluttershy's stare represented in the Slow Spell. I was also looking for a borg that could represent her assertiveness when threatened and Slow Valkrie seems to be one of the few support borgs who can actually hold her own in a battle.
Angel Rescue was a runner up for Fluttershy, as she runs around healing teammates and even has a similar color scheme to Fluttershy. While Slow Valkrie represents the more serious side of Fluttershy, Angel Nurse represents her kindness and care.
Rainbow Dash - Gold Hero. Rainbow Dash is awesome, powerful, and flies; Gold Hero is awesome, powerful, and has 4 air jumps. Close enough. Rainbow Dash's fighting style would be a constant barrage of attacks from the sky and Gold Hero's Rain of Pain sure fits that description. The whole Gold Set Up thing fits Rainbow's personality pretty well, I think. She's a hero, but it takes some time for her to stop being lazy and do something. The signature Sonic Rainboom or the Rainbow Nuke is represented by Gold Hero's X Beam; it's strong, but can only be used scarcely.
Wind Valkrie gets an honorable mention for flying, sleeping in the air, and creating weather on Mega Borg, as well as Accel Ninja for being blue and super fast, but their playstyles didn't really reflect Rainbow Dash.
Applejack - Metal Hero/Powered Gunman. Applejack has been shown to be a hero and extremely strong. I think Metal Hero fits the bill quite nicely. He's a hero, and his attacks are extremely powerful. As Rainbow Dash's foil, it's only fitting that Applejack should be represented by Metal Hero, Gold Hero's foil.
Powered Gunman was the runner up as he fits AJ closer in some respects. He's powerful, "born to protect people from Death Borgs," plus he wears a cowboy hat. He might even fit better than Metal Hero as he doesn't need to transform to go into kickass mode. But how could I resist Gotcha-izing AJ and RD as Metal and Gold Hero?
Rarity - Ring Valkrie, Arrow Ninja, Witches. Ring Valkrie: Rarity has magic, not super powerful magic but magic nonetheless, and the Ring Shot is pretty much magic. Blades shooting out of a sword? Magic. In addition her description says "she likes to stay clean and will destroy those who dirty her." Sounds like Rarity all right. Plus, the Ring Crash reminds me of the Art of the Dress shot where the camera and dresses spin around her.
Arrow Ninja: This one was based on the idea that although she's not physically or magically powerful, she can manipulate the situation to her advantage. Arrow Ninja isn't a powerhouse borg, but he can trap borgs and then whittle away their health.
Witches: Combining magic with the idea that she manipulates the situation gave rise to these choices. The playstyle of these borgs is to hinder the enemy in some way, then go in and attack with weak attacks. Being debuff witches, Bug Witch, Shield Witch, and Sekhmet Witch probably fit the most.
This was pretty hard for me to choose just one, so I chose all of them XD
Pinkie Pie - Double Ninja/Jack It's pretty hard to find a borg that would fit Pinkie Pie. She's so happy, quirky, and unpredictable that I'm not even sure how she would attack. This choice was based on the fact that Pinkie Pie doesn't need to follow physics in the series. Double Ninja's ability to create a clone out of thin air was the closest thing I could come up with.
For Jack, his description says he's "always floating" and he has "a sunny personality, but loses his temper very easily." Pinkie Pie definitely has a sunny personality and I guess you could say she's always bouncing. Jack's strange method of fighting could be like Pinkie's quirks, I don't know. Plus, Jack is pink!

I'd say:
Rainbow Dash = Cyber Ninja. They're both fast, he's got a boost jump which is actual flight (as opposed to gliding like some other non-boost jump gotcha borgs), and he's 20% cooler than most other borgs. Plus, he's light blue. Oh, and the beams he fires from the air...that would probably be RD's fighting style. And he's a member of the Elite borgs, which is pretty much GF's equivalent to the Wonderbolts.
Fluttershy = Cyber Girl Hyper. Basically a lethal unit, when you annoy her at least (see: Dragonshy), but generally hides behind a wall and relies on remote forms of attacking to minimise pony-to-pony contact.
Rarity = Slow Valkyrie. The colour scheme fits, and she's so freaking annoying as soon as you let her get started (argh, has there been an episode with her in it without her being completely obsessed over the smallest of details?). Surprisingly NOT Pop Honey, Rarity would laugh at that Idol Borg's so-called Fashion.
