Best Borg to kill Galactic Emperor with

Hate to bring up an old thread, but I just tried Metal Hero today against the GE. Can someone tell me how his X Slash is supposed to work? Its a long animation, he gets hit for huge amounts if damage during it, and after 3 slashes he was dead. The GE had only lost about a fifth, no, maybe a sixth of his health. How do you guys use him to win?

You're probably not close enough to him; the slash does more damage when the target's closer to you. That's how you can get a one-hit kill on a Dragon at close range but no from far away.
With that said, I don't use him for the GE, so I'm not sure how well it's supposed to work.

Yeeeeah Metal Hero! My favorite borg to use against anything huge, and yeah, to use him best get REALLY close to what you're fighting and for me I find that if you get as high above them as you can (when it's something big) then it will deal damage for a longer period of time than if you were just standing beside them, my fastest Galactic Emperor kill through doing that once his shields are down was 2 hits, it's rare to do that fast though.

I would like to point out axe and hatchet knights are effective. Their throws normally break his shield in one throw, they also break through all the iceballs. Combined with the continuous side jumps you can dodge a lot of things. Every now and then you have to stand there and hope the towers don't aim right for once but if your a good player you'd never have to.

do you think cyber death dragon can take out GE in one shot? because if it can take out death saucer, sirius, antares and death ark in one hit then i think it can

GE has the same HP as Sirius and Antares, so it probably can. It's also easy to build up power burst against a GE since he attacks rarely and doesn't dodge. The only problem is that there are no partners to combine with in story mode.

However in vs mode...

Which prompts me, lvl 10 ge, vs lvl 10 death dragon, and lvl 10 death head.

A 1v2 so that the two can combine. Then test lvl 10 cdd vs lvl 10 ge. See if one shotting is possible.

I don't think the 1 hit attack works on the glitched version though. The CDD's X charge requires both players to use it at the same time. When you glitch a combined borg, you only control one player.

Although maybe it still might work since 100% of the players controlling the borg used X at the same time. I can't really test if out since I've only glitched once to get G Black.

and one by accident

I used the so-called Method 2 to make a CDD... with its arm going through its eye. ;D
I never tested it, but it seems like it should work... aside from the whole arm-through-the-eye thing.

I think that the DrillRobot is good at killing him, cause it gos through him and does multiple hits.

My brother used Gatling Tanks but I just spammed Gold Hero (Sucks having to wait to charge up his suit though ¬_¬)

Im going to suggest beam samurai.

Which i will test when i get more of him.

His attacks do a crap ton when his x is active. And in hyper mode mine can 1 shot stuff with the summersault attack. (Jump push b. Repeat until its dead)

But he does take hits really easily too. So idk how well hed work.

Also, elemental knight? His x hits multiple times, and im pretty sure his b would break the shield. Plus he cant be hit during his x attack. ..which is why he is better than crappy ghost knight. And he costs less too


Also victory________ with his windmill slash.

Someone try the dark knight and see if GE can kill hisself.
(My theory is dk is GE in a less powerful form to hide until he could repower his fortress body, and when GRed killed him and went neo dk turned back into GE. Anywho)

as you start below GE so GE shilds you from GEs shots (not last set)

Do it with Style; Finish off GE with Cyber Hero's Hero Beam.

Gold hero. Even at lvl 1. As long as you can dodge you shouldnt have any problems until the last attack phase where they home in like sirius's shots do.

I got him down to near death with one gold hero. Unfortuantely then i quit dodging and died like four times.
