Just thought I'd like to brag about share with everyone that I've finally finished my first run through Story Mode. The Cyber Death Dragon fight was unbelievably cool, final battle against Galactic Emperor...not so much. But hey, it was fun.
Now to start working on collecting more borgs...!
Getting sentimental for a bit, I want to thank everyone for being, well...awesome. I jump around forums pretty often, and it's rare that I stay for more than twenty or so posts, but Gotcha Force Fan has got some of the friendliest people on the internet. In other words, I'm here to stay! Thanks for making a total Gotcha newbie feel welcome, and for being the awesome guys and gals you all are <3

Now to start working on collecting more borgs...! Good luck! If you manage to get one of each and every Borg within a year, you're good.  Seriously though, it will take time, but believe me, it's worth it. That's what makes this game so great; it gets more and more fun the more you play and you never get tired of it. Well yeah, glad you like it here. I agree, this board DOES have a very friendlier feel than the other boards I've peeked at, maybe cuz it's so small. &&Congrats on your first playthrough?  |

Depending on how much you play the game, you could get 1 of every Borg in a few months. It depends on how fast you can do battles.
I'm glad you're staying. Some people joined and then just never returned after posting once or twice.

Heeyy congrats on your first play through! What did you think about the first battle with Sho? (I was about to write sirius) I kinda think that's one of the tougher battles if you've never fully played it through once. But again, nice job! The game just gets more fun after this. Good luck collecting borgs! It's great to have you here on GF Fan.

But it's cool. I'm not too interested in completion, so if I can't beat him this time around, meh, I'll get to it eventually.

n00b method:
1) Use Neo G Red.
2) Run behind a tree stump or any cover as soon as the battle starts.
3) Spam his Charge B.
4) Win.
5) Get Garuda.
Master's method:
1) Choose any borg.
2) Pray you get lucky.
3) Win.
4) Get Garuda.
EDIT:
The Real Master's Method
1) Choose any borg as long as its name starts with 'Cyber' and ends with 'Ninja'.
2) Use attacks and dodge like crazy.
3) Win with 4 HP left.
4) Get Garuda.

Master's method: Pray you get lucky. Since when does luck make you a master?  Samurai Shogun is a great Borg in the early Sho battles. |

Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage the advice, I still can't take him down...but it's more a matter of impatience and I want to get through this playthrough faster so I can start replaying individual missions.
My Borg selection right now is pretty awful...though I never did try the "hide behind cover, spam G-Buster" trick.
Oh well, I've been thinking of taking a break from Gotcha anyway.
...nah, that's not gonna happen. ;D

Oh MAN noob method worked like a charm in the second fight, with a bit of backup from Command Girl Victory's starting to go to my head...oh wait that's just the crippling exhaustion <3 EVERYONE EVER |

If you can complete the game fast, you could unlock special and then just do battles over and over again. If you play for like 6 hours a day you could get at least 1 of every borg easily. (Except for G Black and G Emperor that is) |

I remember it took me around 3-4 months just to get the cursed A crystal for Death Arc (while harvesting around 30-40 B & C crystals), so luck (something I obviously lack) is definitely a factor.
