52 hours. I was reading a riveting book the first night and I had school the next day so I had to not sleep and stay up a bit to do homework. I don't remember if I used any caffine to stay awake. I know I didn't use energy drinks because I don't drink those. It helped that I was about 7 at the time so I was a little bundle of energy.
Oh, although speaking of hallucinations, once I stayed up for video game club (we hang out from 7pm-7am) and I had had a rough day before. I was playing Megaman at 8:30 in the morning and all kinds of stuff started to look... different. All of the enemies eyes got bigger and I couldn't tell the difference between a ladder and a row of spikes on the wall. They both looked like they were made of batteries. I don't remember which Megaman it was, I couldn't tell. It was really weird because I went through an underwater level and fought against someone that was definitely Gutsman. ...

yeah some pretty crazy stuff happens without sleep. one time at a christmas party the cuzzies had to back to Virginia, and we stayed up till like 4 in the morning, and we were acting like a bunch of people ON something. good times....
i remember an all-nighter i pulled with njay at his house in like kindergarten. all we really did was talk all night, and by like 12 pm the next day i was out.
i also remember one time in the mountains in California it was really late, and we were on teh way back to the lodge in a car, and i was trying to see how long i could stay awake, but then i blinked, and the next thing i knew there was sunlight coming through the window.... freakay....

Does the use of prescription medication that just so happens to work as a stimulant count? If so, I may not hold a record for CONSECUTIVE hours, but let me read you my sleep schedule.
6:15(ish) A.M. - Take morning meds. Awake all day long with good attention levels. (Its ADHD medication, so it counteracts alot of the symptoms lack of sleep can cause.)
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM - At School. Get home at 4.
4:00PM - 7:00 PM - Afternoon nap.
7:00PM - 10:00 PM - Homework (Procrastination) Time
10:00PM - Take another pill
10:00PM - 6:15AM - Awake, playing or actually doing homework
Repeat.
It takes a toll on me, but staying up nights really gets alot of work done.

I take meds too . Corcerta and Ritilan, WOOO, that stuff makes you dizzy... I once stayed up all night on a school night just to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl, staying awake on nothing but pure adreniline and the need to complete the Subspace Emissary.

Let's see... I think I remember the latest I've been awake.
Woke up at 6:00 AM sharp, jumped out of bed and then remembered it was Saturday. Ran around cleaning things and making sure that everything looked spiffy, as my cousins were coming over to stay for a day or so.
They arrived at around 8:30 PM... and we started playing PC games... I believe we played Starcraft and other RTS games, up until 8-11 AM the next day. So, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM or 11:00 AM the next day, because I was focusing so much on utterly destroying my cousins at every game we played... that'd be about...
25-28 hours. Not much, and I didn't really have any strange visions or anything. Wasn't really tired at all when I went to sleep... mostly went to bed because everyone else was going, and there wasn't anything to do...

Three times I remember trying to stay up for a long time:
First time, I was at home playing Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. I randomly decided to pull an all-nighter. Then I was walking in the game, and suddenly I found I was walking into a wall. I had nodded off, an unusual experience for me at the time. Freaked out at how tired I obviously was, I went to bed. About 23 hours.
Second time, the school was having a fundraising event overnight. 7 PM-7 AM. I went, simply because I still wanted to pull an all-nighter. By the end of the night everyone else was watching a lame movie, so I sat against the wall outside the auditorium and listened to Godsmack on my iPod. Next thing I know, there's no music playing. I fell asleep against a wall. 23.5 hours.
Third time, second annual that thing I just mentioned. After about 22 hours I decided to talk to a certain girl that was there. I did, for once. Not something I could previously get myself to do. After the event was over, I went home and went to bed. 25 hours of sleeplessness, and the best night of my life so far.
So, to answer the question, 25 hours.

So it's kinda funny when I hear people having difficulty, or worse, bragging about pulling all nighters. But My LONGEST.... Was my aunt's wedding. So I had been awake all that day, and at night I started watching anime (I think) and stayed up ALL NIGHT watching. Then the next thing I knew, we were in the car driving to my aunt's (not to far away) house. We got there sometime in the afternoon, not very long before the wedding started. So it finally started at light 8 pm, and I had been awake this whole time, but I fell asleep before it ended. So I wanna say.... about 30-something hours?

Topic resurrection?
My 25 hours from before has been shattered. Several times. I think. I've had so many sleepless nights over the past month that I can't remember any specific one of them, but I probably went 36 hours at some point. And I have never experienced a hallucination. Not that I would know if I did...

2 full sleepless days. 48 hours, with my best bud. woke up 8:00 A.M.
he got there about 6:00 P.M. we stayed up, played Gotcha Force a good 8 hours. chugged 2 Liters of soda in that night (each) played Brawl for about 5. 1st day done. stayed up, and (at 10:00) watched Green Lantern in theaters (this was for my birthday.) noon. took turns playing Cave Story, started to get hallucinations. The insta-death red traps looked like EXP shards, so I died often. Then I realized EXP shards move, and got past that. but some of the monsters just looked like the grass. So I still died a lot. chugged about 2 more liters of soda (each) by now.
That was about 4 hours. Then played Brawl. We lost to level 1 computers.... chugged another bottle of soda each, and were wide awake. Played that for a few hours. I know we played Kirby Airride for a bit, but I was extremely tired, and can't remember hardly anything. drank ANOTHER bottle of soda. my parents weren't happy by now. We went and watched Fireworks around 8:00 that lasted a bit. We then played Four Swords Advnetures for a looooooooooong time. I think it was around 4:00 by then. We then just sat on the couch and watched DBZ for a few hours, and slept. For about 15 hours. when we woke up around 10:00 P.M. he had to leave.
Wow...............

I have had times that I have stayed awake throughout a night. Most of these times are unintentional though (can't sleep, people over that are being nosy), or I have to do something really early the next day (4 am) and it's easier to just stay awake. Although I remember one time I intentionally stayed up the whole night for a reason I don't remember anymore. I try not to do this anymore.

It is a bizarre night if I get more than three hours of sleep.
...
Either that, or I sleep in until 3pm...
I get yelled at for that...

The longest I've stayed awake for is about 40 hours. Basically a Day, a Night and then most of the Next Day. I'd never stay up longer unless I had to.
