You can dual-wield swords in this game, right? I ask because if you can I'm going to kill the Flame Dragon in Gotcha with a Vampire Knight, then next time I hear someone talking about killing a dragon in Skyrim I'm going to tell them I did it with nothing but a couple of swords.

yeah, I could cure it if I want. Its at the very end of the questline. Even if I wanted to cure it, I lost the witches heads... EDIT: Encountered dragons twice since my last post. Awesome! Unfortunately the souls they give me aren't the souls I need for new dragon shouts... Wait, do you need specific Dragon's Souls for a certain shout? Because I though you can spend any soul on any shout. That MAY be the case, but I've absorbed several dragon souls and my dragon shouts that I have learnt the words of dont become available. And yes, duel wielding is in this game and its awesome, death eye.

^Excellent. Then my (minimal) efforts were not wasted. I'm still probably not going to get this. Not because it sucks; I already know just by looking at Oblivion that it's awesome. I just don't have the money. Or the consistent access to a PS3. Or the dedication to play a game for hundreds of hours. ...

We already know how I feel about that.Never really been into the concept of PC gaming. Probably related to the fact that most of the time when I have a computer it isn't anywhere near powerful enough for the game. Could also be related to the fact that I tend to assume that a device explicitly meant for gaming can play the game infinitely better than a computer. Plus, I have, like, no hard drive space left anymore anyway. And still no money.

Looks like s***, I aint buying. I can't anyway. Ugh, tell me what it is you hate about it. You better not be like a friend of mine who looked at the advert and without any prior knowledge declared it as crap. Seriously, its pretty damn amazing. First impressions... I cant stand them. If you had PLAYED elder scroll and had a good reason, I honestly couldn't care what you thought about it as everyone is allowed an opinion.

Why has this topic died all of a sudden?
Anyway it's been over a month since the game came out. Has anyone beaten the game yet and does anyone have some epic stories they would like to share?

I already beat the main quest, and all the factions except for the winterhold college. I thought Alduin was easier when you fought him for the last time than the first time.

The stupid companions sent me to kill a bunch of Falmer in a cave as the first quest. I got a nice bow out of it but i can't kill the boss at the end of the cave because he's like level 14 or 22 (The player guide wasn't very helpful.) and i was level 8... I ended up just leaving to level and maybe gain a companion.
Still haven't done the main quest beyond Go to Riverdale so no dragons. I think i'll start those after i become a werewolf.
P.S
Archery is so satisfying.

You have to actually go to the Magic menu then the Shouts sub-menu and hit the unlock button on the selected shout. As for epic stories, try the fact that I beat a dragon to death with my bare hands. And then a different time as a werewolf. Another epic tale was when I realized how bad-ass Lydia is. I was attacking some giants and employing hit-and-run due to the fact that I'm an archer, and one of them hits Lydia and sends her flying since it was enough to send her to near-death. I think "Well, she's dead now. Time to go find the- DAMMIT! GIANTS!" After about 5 minutes of me trying to kill 2 giants by hitting them and retreating to a river island who do I see but Lydia, running down the path with her Ebony Warhammer out. THATS badass.

I sacrificed Lydia to Boethia. I was worried shed steal all my stuff, ( ) and it was well worth it, because I adore the Ebony mail, I wear it even though I have access to Deadric armour.
