I'll admit I play Yugioh mostly consisting of warrior monsters and a stratagy of increasing my own life points and doing quick high damage and then two other stratagys if that doesnt work trick them into useing spell cards for the tower of babel. There are a lot of good beat down warriors. Especially when you get Marauding Captains, Command Knights, and A-Forces going. I recently added Evocator Chevalier into my cookie cutter beat down deck. yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Evocator_ChevalierHe works wonders with Malevolent Nuzzler. I experimented with putting a Sword Hunter in my deck. The two of them sound like they would work well together in theory since he makes his own equip cards out of the bodies of your maimed monsters but I could never get them both out on the field at the same time. I ended up taking him out since I only have 1 Evocator and 3 Sword hunters. Those numbers should be the other way around if I am going to run that combo. Will try and get more though. Don't know from where since I don't buy cards...

Still, beat downs can't really "Beat down" when you can't deal damage. I enjoy using my Cloudian deck to eat away at all of my friend's decks that employ high-attack. Cloudians are pretty much the epitome of battle invulnerability. 98% of all Cloudian cards cannot be destroyed by battle (and those that do punish your opponent), but cannot be in defense position, lest they be destroyed.
They have insanely low attack, and 90% have 0 defense, but with incredibly devastating effects. Cloudian - Cirrostratus can destroy your entire field, Cloudian - Acid Cloud can wipe out your spells and traps, and Cloudian - Altus can force you to lose your entire hand. Coupled with Spirit Barrier, which negates all battle damage to you so long as you have a monster on your field, you have a wall of unstoppable clouds. My friends usually try and get me to use my zombie deck, as they fear this one immensely. In fact, I've only been beaten by one person, once, using this deck. But as always, it's a slow deck, and it's very complicated to play correctly (just my style.).
I'd like to test my mettle, however, against people from this forums. If anyone's interested in setting up a battle through LackeyCCG or other online dueling systems, do tell me!

I am still trying to set it up... I am not too tech savvy so it is taking me awhile. Sorry.

Strategy....I don't really have a set one. Unless someone wants to try to categorize my deck, which would be an arduous task. Most of what I do is bring out big cards and kill attackers with traps, but it's not quite a beat-down deck. Oh, and lots of special summoning, though. Anyway, I mostly just play for fun.

I have several types of Yu-Gi-Oh! decks. My most used and memorable ones are the ones I use in real life. My favorite deck is my deck which mostly focus on Armed Dragons ( yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Armed_Dragon) along with dragons and other cards that destroy the opponent's cards on the field. My main strategy is to quickly Special Summon many monsters on the field while using the Armed Dragons' effects to destroy the opponents monsters, making them have no defense. So I guess this deck is a "beat down" deck. I also have other strategies in this deck but I'm not revealing them. ;D My second deck is a Sacred Beasts deck ( yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Sacred_Beasts) that focuses on summoning them among other things. My third deck is a Different Dimension deck ( yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/D.D.). In the video games I use a variety of decks. Usually I use a deck that relies of Equip Spells and cards that make the opponent discard from their hand. As you can see from above, I can get pretty nerdy when it comes to this card game.

No worries. I've had nothing to do for a while, so I'm just asking around.

I played Pokemon cards ;D They smell good My brother tried to get me into Yugioh once...That didn't work :3 My cousins love Uno, so I end up playing that game a lot. But to answer the question I sort of play card games xD I agree about the pokemon cards smelling good (everytime I open my tin, I take a deep inhale.) But I bet none of you have heard of Bleach and (I found this surprising...) Dragon Ball Z. Both of these have been discontinued, so thats probably why not many people heard of them. But lets not forget about the most epic card game that is a work in progress... *ahem*

...So long as it has a good variety of death borgs... I will make every death borg. In fact, every borg will be made into a card at some point, including Galactic Emperor, G-Black and the combined machine borgs.

It is understandable that the DBZ card game went under. I had a lot of those cards and I tell you, not only was the game not that good, but I never had anyone to play it with. Bleach had a card game? I knew that Digimon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Shaman King, Inuyasha, and Dragon Booster had card games, but Bleach? Really? News to me.
P.S. The Shaman King card game was pretty neat. A.P.S. The Digimon card game is neat (albeit a money sink).

*plays the digimon card game* ....I lost my cards and I got depressed Yeah, there is some card theif going around. They are in league with the sock goblin who lives in the dryer. All of my friends (and I) have mysteriously lost a large portion of their cards after keeping track and good care of them for years.
