I'm trying to make a list regarding gemstones and which color is most appropriate associated with them.
So far I've made this one:
Red - Ruby Blue - Sapphire Yellow - ?? Green - Emerald Purple - ?? White - Pearl Black - Onyx Clear - Diamond
Opinions and more color <-> gemstone suggestions are most welcomed.

Yellow-Amber Purple-Amethyst Pink-Pearl Other than that, I agree with everything else Hmm, never would've associated pearl with pink. Nice about the amethyst, though. I was also thinking topaz could be yellow, though garnet leans more toward brown. Your opinions are treasured.

Well, like most gemstones, the coloration is widely ranged. Any more gemstone <--> color suggestions, people?

All I can think of is Iolite...the name comes from the Greek word for "violet," but it's still more of a bluish color. But since Amethyst is already taken...
