Has anything very weird ever happened to you out of nowhere?
Yesterday this guy kicked our front door in, grabbed my mum by the throat and then ran off when our dog attacked him. We called the police and it took them all night to get to our house. By then we could have been dead... (If the guy decided to come back with friends)

Unless that was an "acquaintance" (one with perhaps some unfinished business of any kind) to the family, that has to be one of the most weird events I've ever heard of.
The guy must've been on something.
Not to long ago, at a small city (we call it a city here but it really isn't one) only a few kilometers away from where I live, there was a robbery and the targeted bank is smack right across the street from the police station.
As far as I know, the robbers were never caught.

It was actually 4 people who came to our house. The strange thing is they asked for my friend, not anyone in our family. After the incident happened we went to my friends house presuming the people had been there but they hadn't.
