Oh yeah, uncontrollable is great. There's lots of good songs in XCX. That cover is pretty good, and this is the original Uncontrollable. Here's some others- My personal favourite My personal favourite also gets a awesome bombastic orchestral remix version

Xenoblade X has a nice soundtrack for sure. Not as good as the original, but still good. Black Tar is nice too, at least for its role in battles. It gets me pumped, though I'm not a big fan of the song on its own. In terms of songs on their own, this one (both the day and night version) ranks way up there for me too:

I can't handle this song. This song was stuck in my head during my test yesterday. I don't think that's a good thing.

[blah blah] Etrian Odyssey [blah blah] Which ones have you played? I've played IV and Untold. I've also played Persona Q if that counts. I played the demo for Untold II but I didn't enjoy Untold I that much, so I haven't brought the second one. I was not enjoying the story in Untold and found the gameplay for both story and classic to be subpar compared to IV, which I played first. I much prefer the classes, I prefer sublcassing to grimoire stones, I missed the airship, and I thought the music and character designs were overall better in IV too, with few exceptions. I now realise that you never asked my opinion and this is the wrong thread for Etrian Odyssey. Uh. AmaLee did a thing just now.

Incoming big musics post. I meant to post this in the "Music to share." topic. That feeling when you're playing fighting games for the hype and to get better. ... And you go in to check your battle records and get captivated by the wonderful lore side of things with music like this, and feel like you're playing a truly beautiful game (then spend more time sifting through some really nice illustrations and reading each characters' stories with the music as well). And then when you go through a character's story mode to try and get better with them, are graced with a sweet ending cutscene, and this: I had a similar experience when I went into BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma's Gallery mode to buy some character colors and stages. Ended up looking through the tons of illustrations for a while with this [very airy and soothing little piece] (couldn't find a video of it). Made me think about the BlazBlue world a lot... While looking for that song, I came across the [arcade version credits of the game]. I'm a bit surprised it's not in the console game. It's really nice and bittersweet, which is perfect for BlazBlue's story. And another instance I had lately was with Guilty Gear Xrd. You know, a series heavily themed on rock and metal and heavy metal music, about badboss characters... then you beat Arcade mode and get a nostalgic, slow, acoustic sappy love song. But I'm going to skip posting that for now since I've posted quite enough, and get to the final point; the story mode ending. The story was pretty good... the ending kind of turned into a whole thing about living life and having friends. I never really though about it, but when I don't ignore most of the stuff in favor of gameplay, these games have some really engrossing lore and characters beyond just the gameplay, and the beautiful music that makes it all worth it. And yeah, I've been into SoulCalibur IV and V lately for some reason. Maybe their more 'duel-based' gameplay is a nice change of pace for me from lightning-airdash-30-hit-combos stuff.

Came across some nice older anime songs somehow. I think some people here will recognize this one. I like it, it's really catchy and heartful. And there's this, which I instantly recognized as the singer for Full Metal Panic's OP/EDs... meaning I instantly fell in love with this song, because somehow every one of their songs are some of my favorites ever (one of them being my #1): And... I really like this one, partly because of the visuals, especially at the second half full of imagery, which goes great with the nice song. Kind of abstract but beautiful.

Posted it in the chatzy. Posting it here too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-Upe4hhAOc15 hours of work, and a year of college done. Time to celebrate with Waluigi. EDIT: And then it didn't work properly.
