I've been a fan of Nakinyko for a few years (3?) now. I'm not normally a fan of mashups, but I make an exception here.

New ABR! Wish they would have done something more with that violin in the intro though. I'm guessing it'll be incorporated into other tracks since I don't think they would have brought in a violinist just to play 30 seconds.

I've been listening to a lot of Saracen lately. Primarily the song linked at the end of the post. They are a rock/pseudo-NWOBHM band and are pretty unique in my opinion. They are still putting out albums despite being a band from 30 years ago that has fallen to near obscurity since. This is also one of two songs that made me start caring about guitar solos (the other is Judas Priest's Painkiller) and is a little before the 4 minute mark if memory serves.

The cornered theme is pretty good, but I like the objection theme more, it's not as exciting but feels so uplifting.
Though, I love this one the most now.

^Thinking about watching Dangan Ronpa. Is the anime adaptation good or should I read the VN?

The anime's only at episode 2 so far. Haven't watched it yet, but Al said it's pretty faithful so far. The problem is it's only 12 episodes, while the game is well over 16 hours long or so... So it's going to be seriously rushed. Well, maybe not like that, but the anime is obviously going to skip by a lot of details and be very fast paced. For example, what takes around 3-4 hours in the game, is already the end of episode 2. I think the anime would be an alright alternative, though.

^Thinking about watching Dangan Ronpa. Is the anime adaptation good or should I read the VN? Yeah there's only really two problems with the adaption: 1) Rushed pacing. Although by my calculations, like the game it should be fairly structured until the end which sped along quite fast to a conclusion in the game anyway 2) Rushed pacing leads to an omission of some very important scenes, mainly revolving around the lack of free time events which are crucial for characterizing the characters from some of the early deaths. However if you haven't played the game it's unlikely you'll care and everything else is pure gold. For example I eventually got my friend to watch the first episode, he being someone who knew almost nothing about the franchise before hand, and he tells me that the only disappointment he has with the anime is that episode 3 isn't out yet. Yeah. So, give it a shot. Topic topic topic... This was my favorite theme from Dangan ronpa. At least one o my favorites, I may have to listen to the OST again. Actually this one I probably like a little bit more. EDIT: Njay shouldn't click onto youtube foe either of those videos. I mean I know I've basically already spoiled one of DR's biggest twists, but to make up for that I should make an effort to migitate the damage for other spoilers.

^Thinking about watching Dangan Ronpa. Is the anime adaptation good or should I read the VN? As said before, it's rushed a bit but unless you have the patience to read for 16 hours, just watch the anime. It does the series justice so far, and is well done.
