Reason for war

What do you all believe could have ignited the fires of war on Mega Borg?

Was it simple a megalomaniacal act on GE's part, or could've it been something deeper than that?

My completely unfounded theory is that there was a civil war between the tribes, and GE took advantage of this and attacked. Magically settling their differences the tribes teamed up against GE. GE realized that trying to conquer Mega Borg was a lost cause and decided to blow up Mega Borg.

The civil war was probably fought over something stupid like cultural or technological difference and the GE war was just GE being a power hungry guy.

Does it not talk about it in the game? I'm sure something was mentioned about the Death Force wanting to rule the universe. So they decided to try and do what they had to do to accomplish this. Hence the war!

The root reason as to why though is not mentioned, as far as I know.

So your curious as to why they wanted power?

Maybe because Death Borgs weaker then most Borgs (Other then G.E & Death Saucer/Arc) they wanted respect from the other Borgs.
