Main for me would be Wolf. He has a great speed, range and power ratio, and imo the best overall moveset between the three Starfox characters. His movement is a little on the slow side, but the speed and range of his attacks makes up for it. I also play Ganon on the side, and I used to main Zelda and Mario (because I mained Dr. Mario in melee. The lack of a lightning palm put me off though). I disagree about Wolf. His Bside.....ugh. I fall too much using it. Fox's and Falco's are fine, and plus, Falco's Bdown gives nice combo opportunity, reflects projectiles, and comes out REALLY FAST in the air with no recoil.

The trick with b> is timing. It's VERY situational, but it's perfect as a quick escape or hitting on elevation. Great knockback/spike (it seems random, but there's probably a way to choose), and as a plus it's one of the more unpredictable moves and comes out fast. It probably helps that I play Corneria all the time though lol, that stage was made for Wolf's b> I will agree with you on Falco's vB though. Heck of fun to use, fast, range, potential to ruin their groove, yeah. Wolf's vB sucks in comparison lol. But, I still hold that his moveset is better overall. fsmash and dsmash trump the other two in range and speed, and his air game is top notch. He juggles like a champ, with hitboxes to match. Man, I'm hyped to play brawl now lol. We need to play sometime remind me over the summer guys, i'll have time to play then.

Oh and pikachu pichu. And all tho pichu took dmg from its own attacks you could just about infi charge skullbash. So it was still better in the long run. That's actually not why Pichu was better (partly because it's not entirely true in the first place); Pichu was actually better because a lot of its attacks are more powerful than Pikachu's. Seriously, fully charge Pichu's Skull Bash once. 39% damage. And don't even get me started about that fsmash. Total annihilation... consistently enough for me to act like it never fails.

i want to say your right about it being more powerful, the skull bash for pichu does have a ridiculous charge time tho. i want to say ive held it for about 20 seconds once. pikachus charges in like 2. also mewtwo is the best clone ever. yes im still on that. until someone gets it.

yea i tend to take so much damage that it doesnt work for me. usually if i get hit in a direction for skull bash to be a feasable recovery option i get killed right when knockback ends. so theres that. but i havent used pikachu since ssb1 so there is that...

Man, I'm hyped to play brawl now lol. We need to play sometime remind me over the summer guys, i'll have time to play then. Wolf doesn't stand a chance in the air, his game is way too slow to be if any use. Falco, on the other hand, can really play well in the air, as he has access to one of the best spikes in the game with his down smash, access to a quick Reflector which doubles as a projectile, and has the ability to star ko by using his up smash in the air (short hop, dair spike, then jump after them and up smash, then use your midair jump to land a second up smash). Also, Falco's access to a meteor smash in his Phantasm is much better, as his goes directly horizontal, making it really easy to jump off the edge, use your midair jump and then phantasm back to the ledge, meteor smashing anyone trying to recover. Wolf is way to hard to aim with his Wolf Flash. There's ultimately no contest in the air between Falco and Wolf, Falco will win. On the ground, Falco can move faster, but Wolf's extra power puts them about equal, the inly issue is keeping Falco on the ground. No player would ever leave Falco on the ground. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a Falco player, but I see the tier list supports me. For the record, Falco>Fox>Wolf. Just sayin'. Edit: metalherox was only mildly amusing. And frankly I'm not sure if I agree, since I never really liked Mewtwo as a Pokemon.

Well, to each his own I guess. I don't tier in Smash either I also feel walking/running speed is negligible; attack speed and range are much more important than that imo. It's not about how good a weapon is, it's about how well one can use it ;D although a good weapon does help lol. I just don't think there's as big of a gap in a game like Smash, given the ranges of attacks and sizes of the stages. @metal...Sakurai went too far into cutting clones, man >_>...

Indeed he did. Oh well i think the next smash bros will be all out. Melee and brawl chars, plus a list of new ones. Thos i really dont see what they could add to brawl, besides characters. I dont really see any point to a new game, but ill probably still buy it.

Well that is an improvement i suppose. And as far as new characters and maps... They always had dlc as an option... Thats what the wii lacked was the dlc ability.

^ Back before I knew how DLC worked (actually, I still don't fully understand it, but), I was hoping that Ninty would release the melee cuts for Brawl in an SD card. All you had to do was buy the SD card, stick it in your Wii, and viola, mains have returned! I mean...you'd have to save pictures onto your hard drive...and it'd be easily hackable...but...it woulda been nice ;_;... As for the 3DS version....<_< kinda don't like how it sounds honestly. I wouldn't feel right playing Smash on a handheld, it's just not for me I guess. Have fun with it though I just prefer fighting and multiplayer heavy games to be on a TV.

It's apparently going to be on both with inter compatibility. The 3DS version will be more customizable based (whatever that means, character creation system ala soul caliber? Better stage designer?) While the Wii U version will be more multiplayer based. Presumably the 3DS it's self can also be used as a direct controller for the wii U version. I heard that information ages ago and even that was speculation on their and my part so take that with a grain of salt.

Started using zelda for some reason. She kicks so much 888, but her tier listing is absolutely horrid. FFFFFFFFF. I wish she ran faster...

I recently got the ability to play online although I haven't tried it yet. Is the game good with just the random match-ups or should I try to look for a group that I can share my friendcodes with?
