Though I always imagined Mega Borg as sort of similar to Earth, seeing as the borgs weren't exploding/imploding/dying from atmospheric pressure differences or anything when they went to Earth. Makes you wonder what kind of metal they're made out of :3

I think that Mega Borg is a planet.
If it were a borg, I feel like it'd either kick the Galactic Emperor's butt, or fall under his mind control (which there would have been an indication of).
Though... I believe Neo G mentioned that at one point the Galactic Emperor was gonna use "the power that destroyed Mega Borg again".
Sure, there's the 3rd option that the Galactic Emperor wasn't able to control it and had to beat it up, I just don't think that's a very viable option.
Also, if it's a planet we don't need any explanation for what volcanoes and oceans are doing on a planet sized borg, and I believe the simplest answer is usually best.
Gotcha Force seems to have too many parallels to Transformers for it to be a coincidence, but I still vote planet.
