One could only think that Mega Borg was some form of Borg, the name alone suggests this, but reading certain Borg explanations states that Mega Borg had natural areas such as volcanoes and snow fields so this subject gets a little dodgy.
What is your opinion of Mega Borg?

I always thought Mega Borg was a planet, even with the "Borg" name.

I like to think that Mega Borg was like a planetoid of sorts.

i think it was a giant borg, kinda how Cybertron was a giant transformer. the natural environments (i.e.volcanoes) could be normal parts of this borg's body. after all, we have seen very odd looking borgs and this could hold true for Mega Borg.
(Just to clarify, volcano= place where "blood vessel" meets the "skin" of MB in my mind)

It could have just been one huge machine with no natural stuff like trees on it. Seeing as Borgs are machines (Or alien) I'd assume they don't need to eat, drink or breathe. So they'd not need anything like us humans do.

Although I voted for "Planet", I'd have to say it's both organic, and borg. Think Omega Supreme from Transformers Cybertron, but with Organic Eviroments mixed in with it's technological eviroments.

I envisioned Mega Borg as a large oceanless planet.

I always thought Mega Borg was the planet at the very beginning of the opening animation (before it cuts to Kou watching the meteor shower).
As to what the planet itself was like, I believe it may have been an artificial planetoid, smaller in size than the earth, and with artificially created flora alongside the Borg cities.

If Mega Borg did have trees, they'd probably be Borgs. And the water would be from Borgs that could swim. Like Tar Diver could make deep water for him to swim in and stay safe.

I effing love that movie. It and the Sonic OVA were the two movies i watched at least every week when i was like, 5. But yeah, Unicron is giant transformer that turns into a planet and eats other planets and whatnot. He's pretty cool.

i think it was a giant borg, kinda how Cybertron was a giant transformer. I believe that one was called "Primus". Mega Borg a borg itself. Glad I'm not the only one seeing a Transformer connection. Perhaps Mega Borg and Galactic Emperor are brothers and had a war, like Primus and Unicron. The difference is Mega Borg lost...

If Mega Borg wasn't a planet, maybe the Borgs lived on it like the beings does on the titans in Xenoblade.

Years of studies lol no just a theory because nothing would destroy their own homes and I watched too many animes but the main thing is that I was there lol I could start a conspiracy theory and one other thing the death borgs are really weak how could they beat the hero Borg team or g red or cyber mars cyber atlas and so on

Well, most of the non-Death Borgs we fight in the game are under the Galactic Emperor's mind control, so it's possible that he managed to conquer the planet by using mind control on some of the Borgs that opposed him
