Sirius' aim is at least as good as anyone else's. Yes, straight at them. When I said you can't aim, I meant you, the player. When you hit that X button, it aims straight at the borg, meaning they can dodge away. You can't lead your shots so you hit them when they dodge. They won't just stand still, they'll dodge around like a madman because there's no reason not to. They'll just dodge even more when they hear the charging noise.

You have the CPU to thank for that misconception.

Sirius can turn and make the beam sweep across the ground. Plus there's an explosion.

Okay Admin.. Do this. Be a Neo G Red, Fight a Sirius and realize that before he shoots, a blue or pink ring will form around his gun. When this happens simple boost (Jump/Hold the A button) I can bet you now that if you time it right, you WILL dodge his shot and explosion...
Thats what i do. It doesn't matter if Sirius turns because your above the shot and the shot doesn't move up.
Now you know how to dodge a Sirius. If i have to, i'll even make a video of it and to be extra easy on a CPU Sirius, i'll be a Normal G Red, not a Neo G Red (Against a Level 10 Sirius)

^ A Roach can avoid a CPU controlled Sirius. I really hate the image the CPU has given this Borg.

Here's your problem. The AI doesn't think like a human being. All it really does is say "there's the opponent. I will shoot him." Now jumping straight up does dodge one blast, but you run out of boost jump eventually and when you land and can't do anything, you get a blast to the face.

Sirius shoots faster at targets that don't move and slower at targets that do move. Try it yourself.. Because you boost you can land and then have time to boost before getting hit. Again, try it yourself. Maybe you and Admin ain't good enough to dodge Sirius, but i can assure you i am and i have done it many times against both CPU and Real Players (Not crappy players either) Sirius is my favorite Borg but that doesn't mean i think it's perfect. It's far from it. Admin, you believe what you want. I wont keep arguing with you. Doggy, thanks for the support. Njay, get better at dodging Sirius.

Because you boost you can land and then have time to boost before getting hit. Again, try it yourself. That would be an appreciated strategy from my part if we fought, but my victory would come too fast to being able to enjoy the fight. Maybe you and Admin ain't good enough to dodge Sirius, but i can assure you i am and i have done it many times against both CPU and Real Players (Not crappy players either) Read the earlier posts, silly boi. Yes, I have no doubts whatsoever you could dodge a timed shot even from an expert Sirius player but if you believe you can dodge attacks for an entire fight just by jumping to the side or use boost jump, you're quite delusional. Sirius is my favorite Borg but that doesn't mean i think it's perfect. It's far from it. Favorite perhaps, but this statement makes it painfully obvious you're no true Sirius master. Which I honestly thought, but I see I was wrong. I guess I'll forever be the only one who knows Sirius' true potential. The GameFAQs board and this thread is yet another testament to that. Everyone disses him because of the CPU's incompetence, and far, far too little actual battle experience of their own. It's sad, but I guess it's a fact now. Oh well, that's life.

^ All wrong Admin You THINK your the only one that knows Sirius' potential. But your bound to say that because no one can prove you wrong. Trust me, in a one on one i could dodge most of Sirius' shots against anyone. Theres no effort needed in doing it. You don't even have to wait. You can just stay on one spot and do it over and over.. In fact i'll make a video and fight 2 Level 10 Sirius' with 1 Neo G Red.

But that should only be for about 10 minutes.EDIT: Okay it works now but i had to make it low quality to be able to get it on (Thanks to dial up flimsy wireless internet) You can still see me beat 2 Sirius' though. Look at how i dodge..

Nice dodging! I couldn't see the rings of energy often though.
But can sirius ally himself with ...... ...... for enough alpha wings to make the game lag?!
<_< >_> <_< >_> <_< >_> I prefer Antares because his alpha wings are a pain for me to dodge.

Sorry for the poor quality. The original video was over 450mb. It would take my poor internet forever to upload that. I just wanted to give a quick example.

I honestly don't see how you can make the X move shoot faster than it actually goes. Timing. Obviously it also helps to understand your opponent's move-sets too. Trust me, years of continuous training makes you a surprisingly good marksman. It's not like you bring Sirius in and start mashing the X-button. That's newbie stuff. how did you my sirius strat anyway i love sirius he's my favorite fortress....plus i love overkill one of my force consists of DB sigma II level 10(three death eyes woot) garuda then sirius(last resort guantee to win the battle)

Sirius is a great borg, but I think Admin has portrayed her (I say "her" 'cause she's a ship) as an invincible borg. Yes, Sirius totally rapes CPUs and is hands down the best borg for CPUs. The only problem is, her main attack (X) is dodged the majority of the time by a competent human player. Learning timing won't change the fact that the fire rate is horrid. With that said, the X attack does hit often enough and the B attack usually hits half the time, which combined with her insane amount of HP make for an average use of 1000 points in versus mode.
I understand saying that you can time it perfectly for when the player stops moving, but for some one like me who's team is 5/8ths unlimited air dashes (as in, I NEVER stop or even slow) that seems pretty hard to believe. Honestly, if you were fighting me, you would probably take out my first borg, (boost jumper) but would still be pretty damn weakened (Megaton Hammer a few times) and then you would hit my Tar Diver which has unlimited air dashes without descending. He can only shoot once each dash without interrupting so it would be a long slow death. I wouldn't even have to use my tar bubble until your next borg. In hindsight, with Megaton Robot's pretty good ground dashes, you might even be done in by him alone especially if he gets in hyper mode. I won't even mention the Beam Satellite I sometimes use...
Don't get me wrong, Sirius is a good borg, it just had flaws like any other borg and should be viewed as such.
Final verdict: 1 on 1-I think Sirius is screwed here, with the focus only on her, most attacks are easily dodged. 2 on 2-Whole different ball game. To dodge most of Sirius's shots the focus has to be on her. If it is, your teammate will beat up on your opponents. If not, the Sirius will rip the other team a new one. Great if teamed up with a fast, high damaging, nonmelee-er (otherwise Sirius's X attacks hit teammates too) like revolver gunmen.

So I finally got all the fortress borgs last week. Sirius is pretty cool, I guess, but not that interesting to use. I love him to hell though because I can use him in the cockaroach/pop honey battles.

You mean Death Arc? It's Tama's partner borg. Play missions where you fight him a lot.
Also for the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, PLEASE STOP PUTTING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN YOUR POSTS. People will reply ON THE THREAD. Which a) is useful to see if your question has been answered and b) doesn't broadcast your email address in plain text format so spambots can get it and send you emails about cheap penis enlargement.
