First Hatai and now Chilli... Who want's to place a bet on the next place to get struck by something terrible?
Anyway, i have made this topic for us to discuss worldly stuff, how us humans as a whole have effected the planet and what you guys and gals think we need to do to change things. So discuss!
One thing i think we humans gotta do is stop breeding. I think this planet is waaay to over populated already. If we weren't so packed in, maybe people wouldn't have to live in places where there was a risk of natural disasters. We'd not have as much food issues with third world countries either.
Also what the h*** is the deal with money!? It's valued over peoples lives for god's sake "We can't get supplies to this place because we don't have the money" So money will fly a plane to people in need? o.O' No it wont, us people as a whole are just too selfish...

I lost faith in humanity a long time ago.
Sometimes, because of what we do, I feel ashamed to be part of this species.
Out of all the deadly sins, Greed is by far the most powerful.
No matter what human-related bad things you look into, no matter w-h-a-t, it always returns to the same core: money.
Slavery, war, it all have the same cause: to gain resources i.e. money.
Truly the worst invention of all time.
If money didn't exist, humanity would've been much better.
It's also ironic that big corporations has never had much interest to invest in new ways to discover energy and the ways we live.
Only a small group of brave pioneers are currently doing that.
Why do we still need to take the planet's resources (trees, oils, minerals, etc)
When the world is truly on the verge of death, I would really like to see what they're gonna do with all those millions and billions of money that could've been used to better the world, instead of making it worse.

You'd expect this to come from someone that has plenty of money (Well to me anyway lol) No offence intended! D,= You and me (And others who are rich and not so rich) are bound to have different views. Our experience of money it totally different. HOWEVER!! I think your kinda right. We've come too far with money to be able to undo the existence of it. But what i think should happen is, not equal pay, but better pay for the more work you do. So doctors/nurses should get paid far more then footballers. Cleaners should be better paid because they keep disease at bay at their own risk (So what if you don't have to go Uni to know how to clean, that don't mean you should get minimum wage) As for what you said on Natural Disasters. Thats the most realistic good idea. But they could just forget about money when terrible things like that happen. That i think would be better. You can rip up a 10 pound note and get another. If my mum starved to death after a natural disaster i cant get her back and no amount of money would change that. Also i don't think a government should make decisions for us. The police are good but i think we should vote on stuff rather then have a government that we vote for and then they do all the ideas. The world seems to have worked on a first come first serve basis. The first humans to claim the land rule forever more. The land is the planets, us humans never owned it from the beginning so why should we now. We should be able to go where we like and not have boundaries. Man i think this is the longest post I've ever made. I'll stop... for now (By the way this isn't all aimed at Crazy xD It's just a general post) |

I think humans are too messed up to not have money. Ideally, no money or system of currency would solve many if not all of the problems in the world, but it would only work if every human was completely compassionate and unselfish. As it is, if all systems of currency were suddenly abolished, humans would just create new ones on the spot.
