Gold Hero because of the ability to airdash and shoot rapidly (there's not much involved in explaining. It's a very low-skill strategy, but it works amazingly). -I actually just wrote up his wiki article. gotchaforce.wikia.com/wiki/Gold_HeroAll of the Jet Borgs, because my friend and I play challenge mode together Gatling Gunner, because he makes me reminisce about Battalion Wars on the 'cube. Arrow Ninja for sure, more often than not in multiplayer when it gets down to this guy, my friends will put down the controller. Atleast Gold Hero appears to offer the other person a fight. Not this guy, though. You get hit once and start freaking out? You're bound to be bound for the rest of your robot's life.

Anything that can hit with enough force to cause him to flinch can destroy him. Or if there's a borg on the field than has superb HP and Defense(Cosmic Dragon) he doesn't have to dodge, and just gets blasted away. The guy has less than 300 HP and has a defense of 2. This means he's basically(to use LoL terminology) an assassin. He has great speed and a good range, but if your playing against me, your going to lose. Especially if I'm a wing borg. All in all, COSMIC DRAGON FTW!

All in all, COSMIC DRAGON FTW! One, that is his defense without Gold set-up. If you get the glitches Gold Hero, You'll see his defense is higher in Set up. Also, Plasma dragon is better than Cosmic. Why? Plasma bolt does much more damage, and has a blast impact. Extra Hp doesn't matter for huge dragons with a max of 1,450. Of course, a gold Cosmic dragon at level 10 has 2,050 Hp......

I'd like to note that Blizzard Dragon is clearly the best dragon. It's B shot freezes long enough to line up a X blast and own or maim anything hit by it.

^I know, I believe I stated that earlier in this thread. I was simply stating Plasma is better than Cosmic.

^Basically, Flame can hit a pretty big area with his shot (possibly more than the others, I'm not sure), but that's about it. Blizzard can freeze opponents. Plasma can knock just about anything away at high speeds. Cosmic can repel shots with a black hole and has the immunity of a fortress and much higher HP than the others, but has an unreliable B shot.
Now that I've actually gotten to use him, I like the Flame Dragon. Low(er) cost, and he somehow feels more epic than the others...

Fixed. You guys have to realize he's a glass cannon. Anything that can hit with enough force to cause him to flinch can destroy him. The only thing in my experience that should be able to hit him is either -An instant cannon attack (ala Commander Girl) or -A strafe-cheating aerial borg So you're right. But as far as heavier things go, Gold Hero shouldn't have trouble fighting a dragon without an instant cannon attack, he never stops moving. Really it's up for grabs though. I agree, very assassin like. (Also, I found strafe-cheating the other day while playing as an Angel borg. You can tap A and air-strafe incessantly and constantly change direction. It's absolutely ridiculous.)

So....skill=cheating now? But I bet you still don't know about superstrafe.
Sidenote: you might want to change your name. Cause right now you really are baka.

Uh... did you just insult him in Japanese? Not cool. But yeah, that's not cheating, that's a legitimate technique. And all it really helps with is continuing to move at high enough speeds to dodge stuff, it doesn't improve accuracy or anything.

you do mean baka means something along the lines of fool right? But I apologize, it wasn't right for me to say that. I learned after what happened to Loopy that we shouldn't say things like that.
On topic, all of my friends who have played the game agree that Gold Hero is not that great. Sure he may be able to air dash insanely and deliver a rain of pain, but as soon as his set up runs out he's essentially begging to be killed.

I agree, plenty of borgs are better. Gold hero is.....decent, great for his cost. He's just fast enough to dodge Garuda's attacks, even outside of set up, at point blank. Still, many borgs are better.
As for the insult, what I meant is, if you're going to insult someone, don't do it in a language few people on this forum understand.
It's like insulting someone behind their back, and over something so little.
Of course, you could've done much worse, plus, not my place to try and school someone 3 1/2 years older than me.

Fo shizzle.
But yeah, Gold Hero isn't insta-win everything, but he is nasty. I've soloed 11000GF of enemies with my level 8 one in VS, but that was against a computer. Still, very good for his cost, possibly one of the top five for efficiency.

I've actually developed an appreciation for Killer Girl. Mostly because I adapted to her SLOW ascent speed while jumping and learned to actually hit with her B shots.
Not that I'll still be that decent when I get back to playing...

So far, my favorite borg is Blue Striker. I guess it's because my collection lacks of Air borgs.

Orange Fighter and Blue Striker are the two best air borgs. Once you get all the air borgs, Blue Striker will still be your favorite.

^I've always thought Orange Fighter to be more useful. I mean, it's got bombs. Bombs are good for enemies on the ground. Most enemies are on the ground, so wouldn't Orange Fighter be more useful overall?

The Power Laser dishes out more damage than the bombs.

^But you have to admit the versatility provided by an additional attack that can hit foes on the ground, even if you never use it, is good. It's just nice to have, I think. Plus it affects a larger area. I personally like to go into Hyper mode above an enemy, fly in small circles above it, and spam the crap out of the bombs.

Drillrobot.....why? Cause his b shot in hyper mode dishes out a good deal of pain from the A-Train. That and just in general hes one of the more awesome machine borgs, I got one on my main force. Along side all my other favorites machines like Clawrobot, and HammerRobot (that one with the spikeball hands).
