Command Girl doesn't have any alts as in . I don't know if there are any borgs that can't have rare colors (gold, silver, crystal, black) though. If G Black, a Borg that due to it only being obtainable (without the glitch) through a Capcom giveaway should never be obtainable in rare colors, has rare colors, it's probably a safe bet that they all do. I must find an Alt command girl and prove you wrong Please don't; if you do I'd have to find my own and add a Dolphin screenshot of its stat screen to that alt list, which judging by the fact that I haven't seen one yet would most likely take at least 5 years.

But how will we ever know what it looks like? And that would be the dilemma. If it exists and someone finds it then that means I'll have to spend an obscenely long time looking for it, but if it exists and nobody finds it then nobody will ever know what it looks like, or that it even exists. Personally, I'll never find it anyway if it exists, so I think I'm better off not knowing. In an entirely unrelated matter, I got a silver Kung-Fu Master last night.

Brought a copy of my Excel list with me today, so I can accurately list my own rare borgs. I have every normal one, and at this time I'm about fifteen-or-so borgs away from having every (confirmed) alternate, so I'm glad we don't list those here, or the numbers would get ridiculous. I've never really hunted for the rare ones, so this is the result of many random playthroughs (I've replayed #8 about ten to fifteen times >after< earning all the GRed/NeoGRed colors). They're listed in order of game-designated number unless I only have some chips for it. I'll apologize ahead of time when (not if) the list makes my post too long.
A few notations to my list to clarify things: (+): This means I have more than one; this will only be used in Crystal/Glass for now. The actual number of borgs with this symbol is two (except for Wire Girl and Wing Soldier, which is 3) (20f): This means I abused the 20th Force Glitch to obtain these borgs; back when my game let me do so. Half will make sense and half were just me being greedy. You won't find this in Shadow.
Crystal/Glass: G Red Neo G Red Arrow Ninja Acceleration Ninja (20f) Revolver Gunman Hatchet Knight Vampire Knight Wire Girl (+) Spinner Girl Normal Samurai Copy Man Angel Nurse Guard Witch Pop Honey Wing Soldier (+) Quick Valkrie Tornado Valkrie Build Robot Thunder Robot Blue Striker Victory Jet Death Borg Beta II (+) Death Borg Beta III Death Borg Iota Death Borg Lambda II Death Borg Omicron Death Borg Tau (+) Death Borg Omega Thunder Dragon Samurai Shogun (20f) Machine Head Galactic Emperor (20f) G Black (20f)

Cyber Atlas - B (1/3)
Shadow: G Red Neo G Red Kung Fu Master Ring Valkrie Normal Tank
...Wow, I didn't realize I had so many borgs who needed just one more chip to get; now I know what I'm doing after earning all the alternates.
Something tells me the Crystal/Glass Ruby/Sapphire Knights might come to me when I hunt Dark Knight's alternate. That Silver Dark Knight chip was just a freak accident from when I was hunting for the original version. It's listed as S rank, so I'm probably not completing that one anytime soon.

Crystal/Glass: Death Borg Beta II (+) Death Borg Beta III Death Borg IotaDeath Borg Lambda II Death Borg Omicron Death Borg Tau (+)Death Borg Omega *is jealous* *has (most of?) the other Death Borgs on the list* That'll take a while, trust me. *still hates the alt Antares' elusiveness* (Before you ask, yes, I have one, but I hold myself to an unnecessary strict honor code when it comes to Gotcha Force and the alt Antares came from the glitch, so I need to get a legitimate one.) I got mine looking for the alt.

*still hates the alt Antares' elusiveness* (Before you ask, yes, I have one, but I hold myself to an unnecessary strict honor code when it comes to Gotcha Force and the alt Antares came from the glitch, so I need to get a legitimate one.) I admire the honor code; I really should earn my own alternate Samurai Shogun. When my old save crashed years ago, I didn't even finish the first storyline of my new one without hacking the normal and alt versions of my favorite borgs (...yes, even Acc Ninja, which was stupid in hindsight). I earned all those Death Borgs by repeatedly playing the random "Defeat the Death Force" battles that respawn before certain key battles in the story. Because of this, I know for a fact that GF energy locks at a max of 2000 until some 100 point battle in the halfway chapter, and the absolute max GF energy you can have when taking on GE is 3500. Hitting the 2000 early on is something I did often, and those battles are mostly two random types of Death Borgs except for three of one normal borg and one of another. As for the alt Antares...I agree; trying to find a battle where Antares shows up constantly without being the first wave is driving me nuts! It probably shows up in the second Orochi co-op battle, but if it does, it's random at best. I've actually been spending certain storyline playthroughs purposely >losing< key battles to see if any different missions pop up. I swear I've seen alt Antares in a yellow version of the "Save Death Commander Tama" mission, but for the life of me I can't make the stupid battle show up on the 8th playthrough, only the first. I'll keep at it, so if I spot Alt Ant again I'll make sure everyone on the board knows how to get to it. Congrats on the Silver Dark Knight chip, btw. ;D

I can't check until my new game arrives, but I'm pretty sure I have an alt. coloured Command Girl. I lost my disk, and I'm waiting for my new game to arrive so I can start playing again, xD If I remember rightly, it was something to do with fluorescent green, either her hair or her body suit. xD Although there's a decent chance I could be mistaking it for another, I haven't played in a few months, and when I did I started a new file for fun xD And for playing it on and off over a 4 or so year span, I didn't get too many rare borgs. x.x Ones I remember are: Silver Flame Dragon Crystal Normal Samurai Shadow Death Borg Beta Most of the partner borgs. Countless alt. colours. A Crystal Tar Diver I remember having a few more, but that'll have to wait until my new game arrives xD

When my old save crashed years ago, I didn't even finish the first storyline of my new one without hacking the normal and alt versions of my favorite borgs (...yes, even Acc Ninja, which was stupid in hindsight). Well, it's somewhat understandable to use the glitch if your save corrupted, I'd say... but I do have to wonder how your game let you get an alt Shogun. That's how I get most of mine. My problem is that I'll see one in, like, three consecutive battles, but I'll pretty much never get it. It infuriates me to no end. Hit the nail right on the head there. It'll also show up in the first Orochi co-op mission, but it's random in both of them. I used to have a crapload of data on that mission and its spawning patterns, to the point that I could tell by the time the Ruby and Sapphire Knights showed up if there was going to be an Antares in it, but I lost it when I switched operating systems on my computer. The yellow Tama mission won't show up in play 8... except maybe if you fail it three times or something, but I doubt that'll work, either. And congrats on yours, as well. I used to have a crapload of data on that mission and its spawning patterns, to the point that I could tell by the time the Ruby and Sapphire Knights showed up if there was going to be an Antares in it, but I lost it when I switched operating systems on my computer. I was just messing with the first Orochi co-op mission to see if I could find the spawning pattern myself, and I just encountered an Antares a few minutes ago! The Death Borg Zetas, Death Borg Taus, Kung-fu Masters, Titan Tank, Ruby/Saph Knights, Proto Titan, Cyber Ninja, Beam Gunner, and Cyber Atlas all seem to be constants in this battle. It's the witch borgs! The first witch borg is different in the wave right before the Knights. It's either a witch that increases size, an Angel Borg, or what I think might have been a Shield Witch (hard to tell when I was dumb enough to use a Sirius). The Antares showed up when the first witch borg was the Shield Witch (or something that looks a lot like it) during the wave with the Cyber Ninja and Beam Gunner. I'll play around with it a bit more to make sure, but I wanted to throw this out there while it just happened and is still fresh in my mind. *Edit: I'm starting to see more of the pattern now; let's see if I can break this down: Depending on the first "Random" position in the first wave, something specific shows up in the third wave. Barrier Witch brings an Antares. White Growth Witch (whatever it's called) or Angel Nurse brings an ICBM Tank. Death Borg Theta or Pop Honey brings an Ultimate Cannon. Arrow Ninja or Shrink Witch (forgot name) brings a Beam Sattelite. Gold Growth Witch brings...a Flame Dragon? (the larger version) Uh oh...another Death Borg Theta brought a Chrono Samurai instead... ...Ok, clearly I'm in a bit over my head here; every time I play this mission, I get another entry to this list. Feel free to try this yourself and add input; If we can nail down a definite pattern, we can tell everyone how to find this alt Antares... ...You know what? I'm gonna start a different topic on this; this is supposed to be the "Rare Borg" thread (even though this thing is rare enough as it is...)

Just got B156B! (For those of you who don't bother memorizing Borg numbers and using the numerical Data Crystal identification codes, that's 1/3 of a shadow Ruby Knight.) EDIT: Just got C155C! If I get C155A I'll have a crystal Sapphire Knight! Wait... A174 AB156 BC155 C

I WANT GOLD DEATH SAUCER BUT CANT FIND ONE Are you using Beam Satellites on the Retake Stone River mission for maximum efficiency? It won't make it any more likely to show up, but it will (naturally) make the entire process run more quickly.

It gets monotonous, but it's the most efficient way to do it. ...Except maybe a Death Saucer. Not sure, though.

Either way, silver Death Saucers exist, so Gold ones should also exist. I don't think there's anything that doesn't have a gold form, actually.
