by the way, i wish there WAS a way to trade, I really want Death Eye's Sapphire knight(crystal color) b crystal Uh... trying to acquire all character borgs. then, to create some kind of online share function. of course i'll need to create the memory card usb reader first... GOD! SO COMPLICATED! ...Hey, RP Mod. I know you're going to read this eventually. I don't mean to harass you about this, but any word on how that's been going? |

You might not actually need a class, I don't think. After looking around on Google, I actually found a seemingly great memory card that can connect to a computer via USB. And I'm not sure, but there should be a way to do the trades on an emulator. Except we don't all have computers that can run GameCube emulators, I don't think... but there's probably a way to get the file working on another memory card even with the copy-protection. It should be doable. |

hell, we could even use this to copy borgs...hmm........

That's basically what I thought of, aside from the Dropbox thing. I've not heard of Dropbox.  The only problem I can see with this is that the files may not work on the memory card because of the copy-protection, which is why I thought to do it in an emulator. But there's definitely a way around it. If Zaraiah can accidentally hack around the copy-protection, then there must be a way to do it intentionally. If not, then there's probably something less hacky that can do it. If it's even necessary. Slightly more on-topic: I think I just killed a Shadow Death Borg Zeta II. But if I did, I didn't get it.  |

Why can't I get this dang Crystal Saph Knight? The only advice I could give in this situation I already gave in the Daily Gotcha Thread. A word of advice: If you're not finding what you're looking for, try not looking for it. I've gotten a shadow Ice Valkrie, a silver Wind Valkrie, a crystal Beam Wing Blue, and half of a crystal Blade Wing trying to get an alt Anubis Wing. I got a crystal for a silver Dark Knight and the other crystal I needed for a crystal Gatling Gunner while looking for an alt Dark Knight. I got a shadow Tao Master and my first crystal for an alt Demon Wing while speed-running. I got a shadow Acceleration Ninja while trying to complete the alt Demon Wing. I got G109B while I was just fighting the ICBMs for the sake of progressing in a play. I got a crystal for a crystal Plasma Dragon, a silver Cosmic Dragon, and a gold Cosmic Dragon while looking for an alt Cosmic Dragon. I got a crystal Fire Dragon trying to complete that crystal Plasma Dragon. I got a crystal for a gold Death Head while looking for... probably an alt Cyber Dragon. I got a silver Machine Head while looking for a normal Mechanical Dragon. I was looking for a normal Mechanical Dragon because I got a crystal Mechanical Dragon in one of my early plays, before I looked for anything in particular, and hadn't even gotten a normal one. That's also how I ended up with a silver Jet Hero. I got a crystal for a crystal Titan Robot, a crystal Victory King, a crystal Gold Hero, and a silver Titan Robot while looking for an alt Victory King. Needless to say, in my experience, what you're looking for won't show up until you're not looking for it. In fact, I'm not sure there are any rare borgs I have that I got intentionally. (Okay, half the ICBMs and all four Death Bombs, but that's it, I think.) So I'd recommend just going through the Story. You might find it then. If not, who knows what you will find? (If you do that and get Data Crystal B109A I will immediately devote every second of my time to making online trading a reality so I can get it in exchange for the C155B you're looking for. It was C155B, right? Not C156B or something? I remember it was C1??B, but I'm not sure about those question marks, and I don't feel like taking the time to look back and find out what they were. But yeah, you get B109A and I'll figure out how to trade and trade you the Data Crystal you're looking for for it.) (By the way, I'm not kidding. I REALLY want to complete my ICBM collection, in case you couldn't tell.  ) (Despite what the smiley may lead you to believe, I seriously am not kidding. Maybe exaggerating a bit, but not kidding.) (WAY too many consecutive parenthetical statements there.) (I should cut back on that.) I just saw a Crystal Planet Hero... thanks to the Tetris Effect. |

I just realized, there may be a problem with that plan for trading. As far as I can tell, those memory card USB adapters are only in Japan. Meaning, if memory cards are region-locked or whatever it's called when it can only be used in one region, then it won't work. ****!  Of course, now that I've looked it up, apparently it would still work. Hooray! ;D Now I just need to get some money. Not as much as that other link says, though, as I apparently found a site where it can be purchased for about 37.5% less.Would anyone happen to know if that is a reliable site to buy things from? |

I recently got a silver Jet Hero; but I think Gotcha hates me because I fought a gold Vampire Knight (which looks awesome, btw) and didn't get him. I got about 4 other borgs and some crystals, but not him...  OH, he looks so awesome dont he? I know, I HAVE ONE.  |

Data Crystal:Crystal: Sapphire Knight. If you Have the B crystal for it, i'm gonna freak out, considering that would make 2 people on here with the crystal I need to complete a Crystal Saph Knight(who is already one of my favorite borgs.) I have c155A, and C155C, but not B. If you have B, then both Sentinel AND Death Eye have the crystal I need. |

The only change to the stats is the HP. That is a lie. Gold=+6 lv Silver=+4 lv Shadow=+2 lv Normal/alt= +-0 lv Crystal+-2 lv But for the Character borgs, this also gives them ammo increase equal to their lv gain Example: Kei has 10 B ammo, shadow has 12. |

Not that I've been here long enough to really know that it has a consistent pattern of periodically becoming quiet...Also, I have enough money to get one of those memory card USB things I posted several links to! ;D Now I just need to get it, which could be difficult since I don't have a PayPal or a credit card or anything, so I have to persuade someone else to do it, since they only seem to be found on a few websites and not in any store I know of... |

Thats great! if your plan works I guess I'll get my hands on one of those USB memory cards too... but I just KNOW that as soon as we establish an online Gotcha trading site, GF2 is going to come out with the same online trading feature.

Well, if GF2's going to come out as soon as this gets up and running, then I need to get this working as soon as possible, so we can get GF2! [/illogicallogic] No, but I seriously think we could get it up and running by E3 (optimistically), and then there's going to be info about SSB4 at E3, and it'll turn out that G Red in it because Capcom paid Nintendo to put him in to promote GF2 or something. I wouldn't be surprised. |
