Bringing back Gotcha Force...

Hello, everyone, I'm a new member here. I just found out about Gotcha Force Fan. I didn't know that there was a community that was so into this game, and I have to say I'm pretty excited to see it. I signed up because I had a fantastic idea...

I'm sure you've all heard of Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. Well there's a sticky on the Capcom Forums regarding what characters you would want to show up in the next Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom game. I know it's a long shot, but maybe if the entire GFF community can band together and let them know just how many people really want to see Gotcha Force be brought back, they might very well put someone from Gotcha Force into their next fighting game. I don't know about you guys, but G-Red in Tatsunoko vs Capcom 2 would be freaking awesome for me. I know it's no Gotcha Force 2, but at the very least it would make people aware of a game that was good, but just had terrible marketing.

So I don't know if it's out of line for a new member to ask... but I would just like to encourage you all to get into this forum and really show them how much you liked Gotcha Force and want to see it come back!

I just thought I'd suggest, since Capcom is usually really good about listening to what fans request. I know for a fact they love throwbacks to their old franchises (Case in point, Bionic Commando: Rearmed.)

I mean, Captain Commando was in Marvel Vs. Capcom, and Captain Commando was literally one beat em up they made like 10 years prior to MvC.

Wouldn't Gotcha characters be unfair in a fighting game, since they could kick everyone's behinds with ease?

Seriously though, it would be great to see them in other games.
Gotcha Force truly deserves to be heard and seen more.

More people really need to discover this gem among gems.

As for the actual discussion: this isn't actually all that implausible. It's no secret that Capcom loves Gotcha Force, and according to a recent poll, Japan wants a sequel. And like JC said, Capcom loves throwbacks to their older franchises. Especially in their fighting games- Eagle and Maki in Capcom vs SNK 2? Ibuki, Dudley, and Makoto in Super Street Fighter 4? The entire Capcom half of Tatsunoko vs Capcom (other than Ryu and Chun li, natch)? Yeah, Capcom's all over that kinda thing.

Phun Phact: G Red was one of the characters that almost made it into Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

This sort of thing's been tried before without success. I can only offer the best of luck.

I was told by my friend that G Red was in this game (The current one out or coming out soon) I was gonna post on here and everything but i had no proof so i never bothered.
