In your opinion, whats the best phone you've ever seen or had? It can be an old phone, like your first. Or you can like it for a specific reason (Like because it was cheap but good) My personal best is... It's the Sony Ericsson W810I. It's been around for a while but it is still really cool and up to date with the current phones of today. I plan to buy one next week from Ebay for 70 Quid. Even though i have 3 other phones, THIS is the one i want ;D

My first one, which would be considered ancient in today's market. You know, back when people actually called each other, and not using their mobile phones as portable computers. Can't remember the name of it, but it was mobile phone I could trust to use if I needed to call someone. Once they got techy, if it wasn't a useless battery or they needed a manual just to start the thing up, I gave up one cellphones.

The W810I is easy to operate, despite it being techy. Everything is just laid out simply. Only people without common sense cant operate it without the need of help to begin with. Only downside is that it can get Software issues and the Battery can be faulty (Both of which i currently know. But my problem could be sorted by tomorrow if i get that battery in the post and its not the phone)

Looks good but too flimsy. I think it could break quite easily if it was dropped. There's also the risk of it snapping if its opened too much or accidentally sat on whilst its open xD

^Nahh, It's as solid as a rock. I've dropped it many a time, I even once accidentally threw it halfway across my room into a wall and it hasn't even phased it. It's the only slide phone I've ever seen that doesn't feel like it'll fall apart at any moment.

^Depends where you get it from. I think it's usually £40-£50, so not too much.

I see why you said "Depends on where you get it from" Not only do they not exist in any shop around here but i couldn't find anything on Ebay or Amazon It's like they've ran out of them here xD I managed to find some for $129 which in pounds is about the same i payed for my phone (Maybe a bit more)

shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/vodafone-541-blackThat might just be the best phone I've ever seen. It costs 30 quid at the moment (reduced from a mere 40) It has a touch screen It has an okay quality camera It has radio If has the perfect deal for me... 20 quid a month will get me 100 call time minutes to any network, 300 texts to any network, 30 days of internet on my PC (I'm paying 15 quid right now) and 2.50 credit. Perfect (for me) ;D I plan to buy this next week. Also i really should get my W810I Working again It's been down for like 7 weeks now.

I am not a mobile phone person. I have a smart phone. It sucks so bad, the touch screen is unresponsive, menus are confusing, and it basically just feels awful to use. If I ever get a good phone anytime soon, it will defiantly be an iphone.

on the subject of texty speak, do you know what people at my school do if they get the opportunity? If, for some reason, facebook isn't blocked (and you'd be surprised.) two students will sit next to each other, and talk over facebook. And students will text across the class, during class.

during class I get, they don't want to be caught talking to eachother. But Facebook, right next to each other? it reminds me about how my mom will text my dad when he's in the room next to her. She can just yell (and she's a good yeller)

I felt like an outcast in school because I didn't text during class. Seriously, like 95% of my school texts in class. Then the teacher catches them, and 95% of the time just gives a warning... For real, like this one chick would get caught texting every day... Multiple times. And she'd just get warned and told to put it away. Well, two chicks like that actually... Taking advantage of our nice teacher I suppose.
Though, in another class with her, she got caught and they took her phone, and she started whining and almost crying to keep it, and then she started cursing the teacher out in whispers... Like everyone else when they get their phone taken.
Makes me wanna sock'em one, I mean, they already knew the consequences, and they think they're sneaky sitting there with their hands inside their backpack (texting) or under the desk.
Also kinda funny how they always mention it was their mom/dad.. As if it really makes a difference. No matter how untrue. I've seen some people even /talk/ on the phone during class.
It's like some kinda trend here... And that said, I have an ancient phone that doesn't even have a camera. Though I'm supposed to be getting one soon, and then I can show everyone my awesome robot-filled desk.

Meh, I actually had to go behind my parents' backs to get mine. Fortunately it doesn't cost them a thing, and I have no contract. Just gotta go buy a new phone card maybe every month, usually less often though. Just buy em and load up the minutes.
