When I usually hear the name of a color I instantly think of something with that color.
For instance, when someone says yellow, I always think of a lemon.

black and white.
don't you just love the contrast?

white embodies everything, black embodies nothing.
white embodies light, black embodies darkness.
white embodies positive, black embodies negative...
I could go on, but I think you guys get the point.My love of black and white runs so much deeper than just thinking they look cool...
but they look cool, anyway.

Actually, in color, white is the embodiment of nothing and black is the embodiment of everything. The fact that you see a color is because something ISN'T absorbed and therefore is reflected. So something that is white, is reflecting all colors of light directed at it, and something black is absorbing all the color wavelengths.
So white=nothing, black=everything.

Mine are blue, black, white, and navy. Also I'm not sure if this counts but rainbow as well.

Thats why I put white as embodiment of everything. its a debatable subject. Gray is also a nice color. it's calm... dull, maybe, but it can be pulled off as awesome. It embodies balance in my eyes. it is the mixture of black and white... of everything and nothing. like a half full cup. so, balance. and in my eyes, balance is the way you get even remotely close to achieving perfection. So, black, white, and gray are my favorite colours. followed by blue, which was my favorite color before I started getting in touch with my inner emo or something stupid like that. |
