I wanna be a mod, but alas, I am too B*tchy. *sigh* Also, I forgot if I ever congratulated you. Congratulations on becoming what I probably never will be able to achieve! ;D

I actually don't want to be a mod. Too much responsibility. I could probably handle it... but I don't want to have to. Also, I'm almost certain I congratulated you... somewhere...

I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but personally the best thing about being a mod is really just being called a mod...

Well, Admin said he doesn't need any more mods, so it's not really worth discussing it.

We don't need any Mods at all on here. We are few in numbers and highly unlikely to start a GFF riot. Any Mods have just been picked out of favouritism. Trust me, I know. Been here since Day 1.

The problem is, people whom wish to be mods only do so for the title. I think what you guys really want is the Member of the Month feature back, that way everyone can have a special title but no responsibility of any kind.
I have no idea who the next mod would be if there even is one at all. It's exactly like Loopy said tbh. I'd expect it to be a European member though more than an American member purely because we have a horrible EU:US mod ratio of 1:3, meaning not all times are covered (especially now Admin has a job).

Since when did we have member of the month? I know I haven't been active long, but I cant even find a thread related to it.

The Member of the Month was shut down since we went through a lot of the regulars and people lost interest over time. Now that we have new members and a renewed interest, I vote for bringing it back. We don't need any Mods at all on here. We are few in numbers and highly unlikely to start a GFF riot. Any Mods have just been picked out of favouritism. Trust me, I know. Been here since Day 1. I wouldn't say we don't need mods at all, but I do agree that the usefulness of mods at GFF is considerably less than larger forums. I think 3 mods may even be too much for now. We have ~15 regulars, of which ~20% are mods. It's not exactly chosen by favoritism, although it may seem like moderatorship goes only to the old members. Members have to have been here long enough so that Admin knows their character. Or so I assume.

I think A member of the month could work well now... maybe, for a few months. Actually, lets face it, we'll cycle through the active members and start from the beginning again. It wont take long.

We really only exist to preform cleanup on threads and such. Hell, I'm only a mod because Duddie and NJay rarely if every go into the RPs and we need someone to clean that place. And James, I am frequently on when you are.
